Last year sometime one of the mods had that line under @GODZILLA as the "high school debate champion." That one was pretty damn funny.

About 7 months ago my daughter wanted a kitten, specifically an orange Tabby. So we ended up with the orange Tabby (Mango) and his little sister, a tiny Tortie (Xena). Yes two kittens because the "Adoption Agency" does not split siblings adoptions. Fast forward to yesterday, we decide to put up the undecorated fake tree to see what kind of struggles we will be enduring over the next month. This is what my wife found this morning. Not our first kittens but our first that are very curious.

    Happy ending..
So they refiled the claim to the proper place.
With the bill they sent me, I was expected to pay $1,737.00.
Insurance paid them $416.03 and I own nothing, although I would have owed $347.40 if my out-of-pocket wasn't met.

I see a scam rampant in the billing of medical and dental professions.
I always look at my EOB, and I'm dumbfounded by the total billed amount compared to the payment plan paid.

This is what insurance companies hope for. That we're not looking out for ourselves.

Sorry to hear from both of you. We lost my MIL Saturday, so it'll be a somber Thanksgiving. She seemed fairly fine for 83, but probably had a stroke the day before, and another that took her Saturday. My wife lost her dad last year, so it's piling on. Best wishes for y'all, and as happy a Thanksgiving as you can have given the circumstances.

Coping with a parents loss is difficult. Near a holiday or special event only compounds it. My mother died the day before her birthday and it still stings 12 years later. My best goes out to you and your family during the healing.

Condolences... My FIL passed on the 16th after a long bout with Dementia. MIL relocated him to a home about 2 years ago as she was unable to care for him alone.

Watching him wither away was simply depressing for everybody. Sad, but it was the best thing for him...and the MIL. She would go visit and he had no idea who she was.

The gaslighting is strong with this one.

But there's a flaw in his story. There's only one person I know on here that not only drinks the Miller Lite, but has mod powers.

The other option is I got drunk and changed it to fuck with people. Either option is viable.

I also missed responding to yours as well. Y'all are doing it right by planning for the eventual. As hard as it as, it's best to have a plan in place so it's doesn't snowball and create more to deal with when it comes time to take action. My condolences for what you and your family are having to manage right now with your FIL.

Watching them go through Dementia is so hard. It’s so very sad and confusing for them. I can relate to this. I watched two of my very close grandparents go through this.

Nice. Yeah, a glass or two will be good. I'll hear it from my wife, though... I broke a tooth and I'm getting the anchor for an implant tomorrow. I'll be on antibiotics and some silly people say the liquor is a no no. What do they know.

I don't got anything that nice. But I'm definitely pouring something, having a cigar, and kicking my feet up over the holiday.

I'm no doctor, but I RARELY get sick, pump out a shitload of kids (cute ones I might add), got some Hella stamina, and liquor is a part of my diet.
I'd say liquor is good for ya
