Can confirm. He (or someone on his team) just hooked me up with Method 316's for an excellent price. Also was able to locate a set up non-backlit (I don't like backlights) SS3 rocklights for me, even though they were recently discontinued. He and his team are amazing!

 

I took advantage of the 20% sitewide discount at Morimoto and picked up a set of their amber DRL headlights for my truck last week. I think they compliment the blue well, it looks menacing in person

 

Slowly but surely getting the services knocked out but you know nothing ever goes as planned.Thought I bought replacement plugs for the transfer case to do away with the pipe thread plugs but as the professor in Waterboy said "MOMMA WRONG AGAIN".Then go to change the engine oil and some jackass has got the filter housing so tight I have to use my 1/4 drive impact but the Motive X tool is on point.Then the damn filler cap is so tight I have to use pliers to remove it....good grief

 

Also turned my truck into a TRD TOW this weekend! A friend of mine bought a 2016 Cayman GT4 last week, we drove to Charleston SC from Atlanta and trailered it back. He was kind enough to let me hoon it around ATL for about 45 minutes before I headed back home. Good grief that car RIPS!

The Tundra pulled better than I expected, very happy with the ~350 miles we did loaded down with about 5k lbs. No sign of any components getting too warm, I kept it in S4 or S5 depending on the situation (tried to avoid torque converter slip) and maintained 70 on the interstate no problem. Glad I did brakes before this trip though. Hawk green (LTS?) pads, Raybestos e-coated rotors, and DOT4 fluid bleed.

Love this truck more every adventure I have with it

 

Thinking this week would be a good time to do all this work on my truck since I managed to get Thanksgiving, the Friday after, and the whole weekend off (auto manufacturing hours ain't no joke when it comes to holidays). What fluid did you end up using for diffs? I've seen several recommendations and great writeups on the forum. I may just go with what's cheapest/on sale for Black Friday that's still a quality product

 

Redline 75w-85 and get a fluid pump. O'reilly's Auto parts has the red line but it's less expensive on Amazon

Cleared some junk out of the garage, bulky not heavy stuff but just had been waiting to stack more of it up to justify the $10 minimum for the county dump. Hit the scales and while the bed was full, the junk was light.
But got my unloaded weight: 6220 with me, full tank, and my usual “get out of the woods/off of a trail” gear I always have in the truck.

980lbs payload to “play with”. Oof.

Truck crossed 105k miles yesterday driving to the basin and back.

 

Used to worry about a yard or 2 of mulch getting the tow hitch to make sparks on the asphalt but I just have it delivered now. It’s only a snowblower or 2 back there or a tiller or 2 these days. No sag either.

With 2 teenage daughters and my wife’s luggage for vacation is what stresses me (and the leaf springs) these days.

 

My springs are as soft as a wet noodle but it keeps things relatively smooth and I’ve got way more articulation than I used to have.

I have the first one with only the driver's (only the driver's switches will operate the all up/down function)

 

If you get the one with only driver auto up/down switch then you still have control vs the kids

 

Update:::: It took my 1/2" drive impact to get the metal housing off but I did have a new housing on deck
