You could, but there’s really no reason to do so. There should be no tire clearance issues that would call for the bumper being shimmed.

 

That’s why I was asking if shims would fit wanted to add a push bar/ hoop on it

 

There should be plenty of room to add a bar without any shims. I’d love to see someone take a crack at this, even though bull bars aren’t my thing.

Yup, as long as you don't have a limited or rock warrior bumper it should work just fine. The grille changed shape a little bit at some point in there (I don't remember what year) but the bumper was the same from 07-13.

Have one of their front bumpers on mine as well. About two years in and no issues to speak of. Great quality, fit, instructions and, so far, longevity.

I still need to get a wench for it, but I've also been eyeing their rear bumper. Spare funds are going into my son's corolla hatch this holiday season, so maybe next year.

 

Do I need to order the harness for the lights or does it come with harnesses?

 

Just the lights and the cords attached to them is what it comes with.

 

I went with this to control all the lights. The lights do come with enough wiring to hook everything up if you get a couple of rolls of 16g wire.

Do I need to get the following items to install the pods and light bar? Are the pods plug and play or do I cut and splice? Also can I install the winch with bumper on or do. I need to remove bumper to install winch? The winch is out of stock until 2/1/25

If you get the Auxbeam control all you need is some wire. All the lights will come with plug in pig tails that you wire directly to the control and then just plug it into the light

 

Yes you'd have to remove the bumper to install the winch. The bumper bolts to the winch cradle which is bolted to your bumper mounts on the truck.

Love the way the bumper looks. Installation instructions weren't the greatest though.

I was able to install my winch with the bumper already installed. I had to remove my grill, one of the radiator supports and the top plate on the bumper and then I was able to drop my Badlands winch in from the top. It took about 10 minutes to get all the stuff removed to drop the winch in.

 

I grabbed my bumper and free winch. I also bought the auxbeam 8 just in case I want to add more lights down the road.

So I have the bumper installed with my auxbeam 8 pod. No winch yet since they are back ordered. I’m not sure which fuse to put the center light bar to so I went with 20amp. It is ok to stack the amber outer lights on 1 pod location so I can flip one button to have both lights on? I have them both on one 10amp pod. All my lights came from Ironman including the 32” light bar. The bumper is a very nice piece as are the lights that come with it.

 

As long as you are under the amp rating, I don't see an issue.

 

You should be fine they don't pull alot of current.

I see that these bumpers will work with both the TRD and RCI skid plates. I would assume they'll also work with the Talons Garage skid plate, but does anyone know for sure/ Because you know what they say when you "assume".
