I just had the windshield replaced on my 2024 Honda Trailsport with OEM and these guys at Mister-C were really good. They charged me $185 for the install and no need for calibration. They said there is a way to do it. It worked because I have no issues at all. Maybe they know what to do for a Tundra?

That makes more sense. Yea, install was sub $200 for mine. Just the calibration was a dick to get right...

I called Joe Myers, they want the diagnosis done before even telling me what/how/$$
I told them what is needed and they are just like, bring it....
I believe it is the camera calibration, not sure if we have sufficient tools to get it going....
Gonna hit up a few stores around me to see what they say

I believe so, the guy that did the glass wasn't so clear on what he was using, just telling me that the camera had 3 calibration, first one worked but all others failed.
I believe it is a 3 step, meaning if step 2 failed, step 3 would not even show up....

Need a local Houston Toyota independent and reputable shop. Is time to take my 2013 out of the dealership service schedule and move it to an independent shop rt continue with rigorous maintenance.

I am in Southwest. Who do you guys recommend from personal experience? I can drive a bit to get there, need be.

Just dropped the Tundra off at the dealership (Joe Myers) for a diagnostic and found out I have the platinum extended warranty, so hopefully that picks up the tab for this.

Bad news is, they found that the camera was not aligned when the windshield was reinstalled, so I gotta take it back to them to get it re-dine. Damn it, that means I also need to re-dine another tint.....sigh

Now that suck cojones for sure.

I just had the windshield done with OEM on my Trailsport Honda and these guys were impressive. No calibration required and they even moved the old stickers to the new windshield. They sure knew what they were doing.

Yea, I mean, Google review were rad 4.8 stars for this location, so I guess it wouldn't go wrong, or too bad.
Camera location mis-aligned is just stupid..... I am hoping they can just pry it open a tad on the top to re-align the camera part and leave it alone.....

Just came back from the glass place, they are ordering a new windshield for Thursday morning install, said the last bracket might be off when they glued the bracket on the glass.
Said it doesn't happen often but have heard that it does.
So I will be out half a day, then back to the dealer to get it re-calibrated, then maybe next week to re-tint......
Not sure if I should cry or laugh, or just shut up and be grumpy......sigh

Man I was looking for exactly just that model to put a supercharger on it. Didn't find one so ended up putting the SC on my current 2021. 200K miles on it is not bad if maintenance was done right.

Anyone want some used Weathertech liners? Fo free.

Have front set and full rear (under seat) for CM. Used, but they do the job. Passenger front slides around bc Weathertech uses a 3m adhesive for the carpet that stopped sticking. These came in the truck, buddy bought his dad a Husky set and then his dad had health issues shortly after so they downsized his vehicle and I bought the Huskys. I will get some pictures up later after I clean them. Located in Spring Branch area, Wilcrest and i10.

I am itching to get another low millage Tundra and replace my son's 2013 one. Only 5826 Miles on it. Toyota Katy Price - 2021 Tundra. If I can bring it down to 35K cash, I am gonna buy it.

GET IT!!!! My only issue with that one it is a 2WD, which would leave me wanting a 4WD for winter time up north where traction is an issue....

    So the saga continues.....
Camera re-alignment was done last Saturday, drove a few days and all was fine, so went and got the tint (again) on Tuesday.
Today, after driving 20 mins in the cold (was sub 40) the damn light came on again, along with a "Headlight malfunction" error.
Once I got to work garage, turned off, turn on, errors gone, drove around this morning, all is fine, no error.

On the way home (after 4pm) as I was closing to Joe Myers, the damn lights came on again, so I went to Joe Myers, but the lady that worked with me was off today, so bringing it in Saturday, again.
Funny thing is, as I was leaving Joe Myers, the startup was error-free, but a few miles down the highway, ding.....

TBH, pretty pissed at this point. I am sure I am just having my share of shitty luck and the truck is fine.
    2024 needs to end, now.

Oh, also, due to having an extended warranty, that's why I went back to the dealership, otherwise I would be tempted to take it to a Toyota Master Tech to give it a detail-in-depth once over to see if any other lingering issues.....

Consider this one? I know 110K miles ain't exactly new, but TRD PRO and price ain't bad, but unknown conditions so need to check it out.

O dude sorry to hear that. Even the dealerships are clueless trust me. I hope they get to fixed soon. Usually where there is smoke there is also fire? Trace back all the steps and check the potential of these guys messing something up? Look for the fire.
