Help! ID knocking

    Clacking noise after warm up- only at idle and not all the time. It’s my buddies 2020. Anyone have a good idea? Dealer unable to replicate or identify. Working on video upload.

    Stuck driver’s side timing chain tensioner is a common one, that’ll make the chain slap around and cause a bunch of noise.

    Is he still under the 60k mile/5 year powertrain warranty? If he is the dealer probably claims they can’t replicate because it’s a repair job that sucks.

    Ya he’s under warranty still. That’s a good string to chase thanks for that. Can’t figure out how to upload an iPhone video.
