Walmart tires Cooper

Any opinions of these cooper Walmart tires? They seem to be an excellent price. I tow a trailer and camper frequently and am a little worried about load rating but I believe it's the same as what comes on the tundra from the factory. Im approaching 30k miles and my Michelins are about done. Hoping 275/70/18 will fit fine on a stock truck. Plan to level it in the future.

What’s the ply/load rating on these? Seem kind of similar to the AT3s which are usually pretty good from what I’ve heard from others.

these are not the same load rating as stock. These are e rated tires, stock on HD trucks. You can expect a deteriorated rated ride and the increased weight will negatively impact fuel economy.

 

Are you sure these are e rated? I don't see any rating on the website. Usually it would say e rated 10 ply somewhere I thought

 

I went with the non-LT version and they are SL rated. So far, love them, especially for the price. Towed the travel trailer with it no issues.

 

The LT designation and the 125 load rating is the give aways. If you want 275/70r18 tires in anything but e-rated, there are very limited options. General has 2 different tires that are SL rated (i run the Grabber ATX), and now Nitto has the G3 terra grappler in SL rating. If you want an SL rated tire (same as stock) but the 1" larger size, i'd go with the G3 if you want something like the Coopers posted or the Grabber ATX if you want something a bit more aggressive (but also a bit more noisy).

Stock 275/65r18 tires have plenty of sl rated options though.
