    A little off-topic, but it's still business.
My place of employment used to be professional drivers and management that were proud to be there..
Employees that took some pride in the company name and reputation.

There are few and far between with that attitude these days.
It has turned into doing as little as possible just to keep your name off management and upper management shit lists.

I do what is expected of me and go above and beyond at times, but no one knows it.
    I'm fine with that.
But it is a shame to see what this company is now compared to what it was even 10 years ago, not to mention 30 years ago.
Jim Casey would not be proud of what is has become, but I guess it's like that in any business these days..

    Oops...
UPS will pay $45 million in fines with SEC settlement

They never should have bought Overnight Freight.
They only did it to keep up with FedEx Freight.
UPS freight was never a money making investment..:eek2:

    I guess they'll be ok...

Favorite “appetizer” is my homemade Chex mix, old school with bacon grease added. But I won’t make that, I don’t want to bring on the big one.

Wife just made some chex mix. She added a mixed nut medley in lieu of just almonds. Used some BBQ rub as the seasoning and twice the Worcestershire called for in the recipe. Just about perfect...

Kinda weird, but here you go...

Welcome to the jingle, I got toys and games
I got everything you want if you're on my list of names
My elves are people that can make whatever you may need
If you were good all year my honey, presents for your trees
    [Chorus]
I'm the jingle, my name is Kris Kringle (ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho)
Watch me shuffle down your ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-chim-neys, neys
Mwah, I wanna get more milk and cookies
Welcome to the jingle, I come on Christmas Day
If you want toys you gotta be nice, but that's the price you pay
And if you're good little boys and girls, I'll put presents under your trees
My sleigh don't have no bright lights, but Rudolph helps me see
    [Chorus]
I'm the jingle, my name is Kris Kringle (ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho-ho)
    Merry Christmas to all
And to all a good niiiiiigggggghhhhhhtttt

It's my whole company against my team just like that.

They're high-end technical. They are the folks who can tell anyone how to use, configure, secure, and otherwise get their money out of the products we support. Not licensing, not break/fix support, not sales. They're SG&A, not COGS (sorry, look it up) so they don't deliver services. Every week we get pelted with licensing questions FROM LICENSING TEAMS. We get asked to sell BY SELLERS. We get asked to deliver services for free - even though selling them is how we get revenue. It's horrible.

I mean everyone under the sun makes a turkey and cranberry sandwich. But the taco shell is just different enough to make it new and that it just looks delish. Maybe add some mustard as well. Well because mustard!

I like French's, wife bought the Whataburger stuff.
Whataburger used to be awesome, but since they sold out to a Chicago firm in 2019 it's not the same.:(

Whatasale: Whataburger sold to Chicago-based merchant banking company | wfaa.com

But it's still better than that shit they serve at In-N-Out Burger.
