Gotta love that angsty teenage passive aggressive malicious compliance vibe he has going...

Reminds me of a 30 something direct report I had in a previous job. I remember during the meeting I had with her after writing her up, telling her if she had put in the effort of doing her job as much as she did pretending to work and being "technically correct" then she would have been an outstanding employee. Sadly she got fired later...

As much as I hate to give credit to a total duechebag, he layered the sarcasm on pretty well for a written statement. Often times sarcasm is lost in text. Yet he succeeded.

It's amusing but it makes you wonder, if he is this peeved over a forum ban, how is he going to handle stuff that comes up in real life and actually matters?

My kids hate anything Welch's grape flavored. They make fun of me for liking it. I'm the only one in my family who will eat the grape jolly rancher.

Poll questions: what are your least favorite and most favorite Thanksgiving dish items?

    I'll go first.

Least favorite, ambrosia salad. I really want to know who eats this crap and actually likes it?

Most favorite, Giblet gravy. Because without the gravy, nothing else comes together.

Close second to most favorite, Cranberry sauce. But only the jellied kind, like I used to eat growing up in the trailer park.

Most favorite: Roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potato's and gravy. Don't really have these dishes often.

Least favorite: Don't really have one. My spread for Thanksgiving is usually pretty basic as it's just me and what I am in the mood for/have the energy to cook for myself.

    I despise cranberry anything.

Not a turkey fan either. Much prefer ham.

Love the canned yams, but hate candied yams. :crapstorm:

Not sure what ambrosia salad is but I probably wouldn't like it.

Least: dry turkey breast, all the jello dishes.

Favorite: homemade stuffing and real cranberry sauce cooked with booze. My dad's spiral ham covered in his brown sugar/mustard glaze with cloves and cherries on it.

My great aunt would always bring ambrosia salad, I’d just pick off all the cherries and eat those! She was also the aunt who would give my mom a fruit cake every year at Xmas

this year we’re doing ribs and a breast

edit: I guess it was Waldorf salad actually but still a weird old lady dish

    Favorite would be tacos.

If doing a traditional dinner, stuffing and my wife's homemade yeast rolls.

That's the one I usually get at my local grocery store. Haven't seen the grape flavored one in any of the places I shop.

It's amazing how much time and effort people spend trying to avoid their job. Completely normal for someone to waste 60 minutes instead of doing a 10 minute job.

I'll share a story...We have a guy at work that cannot do his job to save his life. My group will help him create a work package (cuz we know most of the info, but not all of it) and then it's his responsibility to fill in the details (from other experts) and adjust as necessary as the package gets reused for different customers. It really is that easy. About six months ago I got irritated at him b/c he kept asking my team to review his very minor changes. This was after about four months of hand-holding...cuz I try to be a team player as much as possible. He didn't like me telling him to own it and a bunch of other ego fluff stuff like "You've got this; you know this work now".

A day later the most senior person in his group (not a lead, but basically a lead) called me into a conf room and tried to con me into always editing this asshat's work. Now, this lead guy is very smart and he and I had been on good terms for over a decade. I looked him straight in the eyes and said "No, this is your team. You teach dummy to do his job, you edit dummy's work and you keep him from wasting my group's time b/c we're not staffed or trained to edit the overall package." The lead guy got all flustered and then I said "am I wrong?"...he agreed I wasn't...but basically didn't say anything to me until he retired a few weeks ago.

    Hilarious crap...
