Are Denso fuel pumps not available anymore? I was gonna buy myself one as a christmas present. It shows them as discontinued on Denso's website and they're not on any trustworthy sites like RA.

Are there any good makers of aftermarket fuel pumps or are we all screwed?

Never heard of them. Are they a subsidiary of Walmart or are you just abbreviating for “Walmart, bro”.

 

Walbro is the only other brand I'd trust. It's what I've always used with GenIII SBC swaps. Their shit is pretty bulletproof and great longevity.

 

Ask anyone who races professionally. They know who Walbro is. Probably one of the best fuel pumps on the planet.

 

That's a damn compelling price on an ~80k mile truck with a $2,000 cap, with mint looking paint, clean frame, clean interior. Even if it's V6/Manual and old man tan.

Hey what’s the brand of those headphones you like that don’t actually go in the ear?

 

I sometimes wonder if LRA fuel tanks might be possible to fit into FGt’s. Or if they might make one for us someday. Would be nice to have 500 mile range I think.

Also wondering if there could be any future possibilities of turning off half the cylinders with some sort of aftermarket controller. Would be so nice to cruise in 4 cylinder mode with the touch of a button for long road trips. Granted these things are not terribly aerodynamic but at 60 - 65 if not heavy or towing, 4 cylinders seem like enough on flat ground.

butttttt they're basically used if every race application you can possibly think of and has the reputation to boot.

And if anything, they can probably build you a fuel pump to your exact specs.

 

You could also run propane. Flip a switch to change fuels.
