Yeah, I was thinking w/as light as the storm was, I should charter a sail boat and try to make it to the eye of the storm

 

We're good down here; it stayed quite a bit more off-shore in our area than originally predicted... I think at best we saw 65-75mph winds. It looks like the WA got hit the hardest. I think they had almost 1/2 million w/o power and numerous trees into homes....

 

This is the game of insurance in general. Auto, health, home, you name it. They just fuck customer claims and bills up so they can collect more. Like our premiums aren't enough for those fat bastards to live off of. End rant as well.

 

You're a tough one for sure living with all that.

I have two insurances and went to the ER for some heart fun. I was told with these two insurances, I would come very little out of pocket... Turns out that this is not the case. Plus, my insurance reupped in Oct, so all my out of pockets reset. And of course, the follow ups have been in the new cycle. this bill, never went to the insurance company so when I did call, they said "oh, we got the number off by one." Um, you fers scanned my ID card... I saw that!

Oh, and my work just decided to stop doing bonuses and focus more on pay increases. I was really hoping for that bonus to clear all these expense, but also... nope... Yay for budgeting!

Oh, and it shows that it is already late even though this bill came in yesterday.

I found out earlier this year that I had 5 kidney stones. 3 in my left side and 2 in my right. Except mine were 12-14mm. How did I find out? I was in so much pain I blacked out and hit the ground. This prompted an emergency room visit. I was told my right kidney had started to go into failure. And then the next two months I had two surgeries so they could go up my peehole and blast the stones to dust. Nothing like pissing blood and rock fragments for weeks on end. Nothing prepares you for that.

 

Yikes...

 

This happened to my brother and his response was pretty much verbatim. Nothing prepares you for that.
