Yeah, I couldn't believe it.... especially since i was going to have it done while they were already working on my vehicle and doing a tire rotation.

But whatever, I enjoyed learning and have now done it again since then  Haven't done UCA's but I can't imagine that is worth another 600 in labor since they would have already removed the shocks anyways....

    I wish you luck!

Is that from Revesol-USA or someplace else? Does it just get power from the clock spring, or something different? I have the Revesol-USA Carbon Fiber/black leather and would vastly prefer a heated wheel with full leather.

No way UCA's are worth that. I did them once and they are not bad. I think the hardest thing was clearing stuff out of the way to get the bolt in and out. Thanks!

IMG_7044.jpg IMG_7042.jpg Installed my air spring cradles today. Pics of normal sit and lifted to the point the back tires are off the ground. As I was looking at the pictures , I noticed the driver side bag slide down a little. I never noticed that before. I’ll have to check the passenger side tomorrow to see if it does the same thing. They still hold air.

I couldn’t wait till tomorrow. I had to check it. It’s the same on the passenger side. I’m thinking it’s designed that way so it doesn’t rip the airbag as easy.

Another slow day at work meant another little project on the truck. I’ve had a Overland Equipped fuse block and mount that I’ve been sitting on for about a month, and I want to try and install my bed lighting here in the next few weeks so I had to get it in. Install was 15 minutes tops, but I need to do some reworking of the wiring to eliminate one of the fuse holders for the wiring I’ve already routed to it. I also need to secure the power cables a little better as well but so far I’m pretty happy with it.

Remove the recovery hooks (use an impact gun). There are 4x nuts on each side. All are 14mm. You definitely need a set of flex-head combination wrench. I used a cheap workpro set from Amazon. Loosen up 4 bolts on each side… then remove 3 on each side and leave 1 nut a few threads in. When you’re ready with your mod, take the last nut off the driver side, wedge the bumper off that side and place your bumper extension in. I was able to wedge my bumper about half an inch from the bolts. Loosely reattach the nuts on the driver side. Now do the same to the passanger side. Tighten everything up and you’re set.

Space is limited, wear gloves and a long sleeve to prevent scratches. You’ll know what i mean when you’re fighting off the nuts holding onto the bumper.
I lubed the threads about 30 mins before starting.. would have been easier if I let it sit for a while.
Good luck. I found the instructions on this forum.

I could not sell the Tundra privately, so had to trade it in. We had been waiting on the GHH since it arrived in port back in June. I was finally fixed from the recall and sent to the dealer this past weekend. I am now driving the wife's '23 4runner, she has a long commute so she is in the GHH.

2020 SR5 DC, some mods, 34k miles, CarShop(carsense) offered 36k, dealer matched at 34200 (plus factor in the $2k tax savings). I was at 37k via private sale, no one came through

Welded the tabs onto the frame, and got handy with some angle iron. Now I can get in and out without busting my stuff.

That looks strong. Hopefully it's real good.
Reminds me of a "just rolled in" I saw. "Customer states spare tire is missing" as he's looking under the carpet in the cargo hold on a jeep.

Friday AM - quail, pheasant, chukar hunt in Navasota, TX area. Drove home around noon, scooped the 4 yr old and headed south to Surfside Beach to take him camping. Weather was perfect. Great weekend.

Thanks! Install was easy, other than the seal. Definitely clean and not too bulky like the rest on the market.

Added some of the older TRD pro headlights over the weekend. They are the halogen ones with the older amber drl which is what i wanted. Lasfit sent me some of there Led bulbs to try out and damn are they so much brighter but I probably wouldn't have upgraded to leds had they not sent me them as I hardly ever drive at night and never had a problem with the original halogens that came with it. Absolutely love the way it looks now with the darker blacked out housing

I leveled it, did cab mount chop, ripped off the stock 20"s, and put on some Marketplace wheels/tires, 315/70/17" on Method 314s. IMG_0736.jpg

Please do your fellow motorists a favor and make sure they are focused properly. Many times installing LED bulbs in a housing designed for halogens, instead of changing housings, doesn't work well and results in light that is blinding to other drivers.

Thankfully these that they sent me are super nice they have a pretty defined cut off line and i spent about an hour last night driving testing them and adjusting them. no one flashed me so i think im good. i also have the leveling motors and i have it set so i can lower them down to about 15ft in font of my truck if the need arises.

Oh yeah, took it to my mechanic buddy who's got a real high end scan tool and codes came back that had something to do with the MAF sensor. Don't really know what could have caused it but he reset it for me and CEL never came back. That same day was when I decided to pull the trigger on the SGIII and so now i'm keepin a close eye on things.

Been meaning to ask you(or anyone with the SGIII)...What are you monitoring? Can you send picture of your 3 screens? I've been trying to learn about all the different options for gauges and differences like Ambient vs. Intake temps which I'm pretty sure I found out, then AT Oil1 vs. AT Oil2 which I found out 1 is pan and 2 is TC but which is best to keep on screen? I'd assume 2, right? Just things like that is what i'm trying to figure out.
