Did a grille swap to a TRD pro on a Platinum trim. Light bar is not dependent on high beams which I wanted. Toughest part was removing the clips on the grille. Other than that pretty straight forward.

If this is your content, thanks for putting together the install video! It definitely helped me out a lot when I did the upgrade to the heritage grill along with the marker lights. Keep it up! :muscleflexing:

Removed third row seating, installed base deck.
I did this mod (but had a local shop do the actual install) ... I really love the result.

Yeah. I like the Heritage grill better with the added light bar independently switched.

The mod shown in the video IS independently switched (thought I'm not 100% happy where it wound up being placed).

Some states, like mine (Virginia), the light bar won't pass inspection unless it's wired to the high beams

Looks great. Was there any issue with what Toyota calls the active front spoiler or the air dam that deploys at 30mph? I was told that the air dam was the reason that the dynamic diode ss18 light bar won’t fit on a 3rd gen platinum tundra.
    Thanks
