Do you prefer to come home to the quiet of everyone asleep so you can winddown in peace, or does it feel kind of empty when you get home?

a little bit of both, but probably the former. Although, my house never feels empty to me. Now that we're getting into winter I make a fire and tend it, hang out on the forum for a bit, have a beer and stretch. I wouldn't be able to do this if the girls or my wife were also awake. Dogs sometimes join me but often go back to bed after I get home.

That sounds peaceful. A rare thing. I hope you enjoy it. Love tinkering with a fire and just sitting in the quiet sometimes.

I'm funny about fires. I never care to tend one when camping but in my home I love it. Probably because it's such a big source of heat for us in the winter though.

Now that your bike is put away for a bit you have any plans for adventure this winter?

I'll be going duck hunting with a buddy next week. I'm not particularly interested in it, but he's been hounding me about it for a year. After that, I'm beat. Travelled out. Going hermit mode until spring. Too much running around to make sure everyone else is good to go and neglected my own personal well being enough that I'm gonna be selfish and just hole up for the winter.

Ours shut down for a bit, but someone bought it and reopened it. Last night was a special event for a local car club as its usually only open Friday and Saturday.

    That is awesome!

There is a company in TX making a comeback with these. I am hoping they make their way out towards me, I will add the hope to your direction as well!

Right on. I'm all about hermit mode in the winter as well. Hope you get a few quacks for some eatin' before the hibernation.

I would, but it's still almost 1hr from me (50min per google maps) and not necessarily in the best part of town. Also, not a fun thing to do in the summer when temps are still 95*+ at 7pm.

I'll have to check their schedule now that's its cooler. I wonder if they'll let me bring the Lance...:D

I'm surprised no one called you out for manufacturing it. There are a lot of members who are a commonly seen in both of these threads.

Curious, but why would you need a cocked P220 on the table while playing video games?
