"Intuitive parking assist" - Graphic "missing" from digital cluster

I just realized my digital cluster is not showing the diagram for "Intuitive parking assist":




I just checked the manual and one of Steven Welch's videos on that topic ("Toyota parking sensors. Adjust volume, enable or disable") and his clip is showing the diagram:



Mine is 2024 Limited; his is (I think) 2022. For the record, I do have the diagram on the 14" (multimedia) display:



Any ideas why this particular feature is "missing" from my truck? Anyone else could check and report back? Thanks!

 

Have you checked the build sheet to see if your truck has that feature?

 

I have the sensors, yes. The truck is beeping when detecting the object. It's just that the graphic representation of the sonar detection is missing from the cluster.

 

Does your truck have the PVM package on the build sheet? I don't believe that package is standard on the limited.

 

Yep, have that one as well.

 

I have a 23 ltd and have never seen that on my truck either

 

You only have the graphic on the instrument cluster IF you do not have the camera package. Otherwise it shows up on the screen where your eyes will be anyways looking at the cameras. I only know this because my truck with the cameras is in the shop and the rental doesn’t have that package.

 

Thanks! This makes sense! Just re-watched Steven's video again and the Tundra is he is using most certainly does NOT have the PVM package (front camera is missing from underneath the front logo). OK, mystery solved. I am going to leave this thread in case anyone is looking for the same answer.

Now to find out why my beeping does not seem to mute the radio (if it happens to be playing when backing up).

 

Mine only lowers the radio volume when you get to the second stage of the distance meter.
