Hello world, I have a 24 tundra with the JBL sound system and the day I got it I used techstream to disable everything I disliked including the fake engine sounds and the ANC. I disabled the ANC because I thought it produced a slight white noise while idling in the garage. I also installed the Beatsonic amplifier to increase music clarity/volume.

Now that I am familiar with the truck id like to test out the ANC feature again but before I do, does anyone know if I'll run into issues since I'm using an amplifier? ANC should create sound from the speakers to cancel out opposite frequencies, but since the system is louder and more clear/better bass, will this throw the system off?

    Thanks for any insight

Reviving old thread... how has this worked out for folks? I have order the beatsonic amp, but am curious/concerned about

    1. Engine noise - I don't hate it as is, but concerned the amp will further amplify the engine noise through the speakers?
    2. ANC - I do like the ANC on the current setup, it is helpful especially when on calls, wind, etc., Did the amp create any issues with ANC that required anyone to turn it off altogether due to the add'l amplification?

I can confirm ANC works the same with the amp installed, I have left it on. Engine noise doesn't seem to be louder though, with the speakers now sounding way better, I've turned the amplified engine noise off altogether. The product works well, it's not a mind blowing difference but it definitely is more crisp with way better separation between the highs/mids/bass vs. the muddiness that was common with the stock JBL. I used to have to turn it up louder than I wanted just to hear the finer details in the music, and now I can hear that at what I'd consider "normal" volume levels.
