I'm probably close to 2,000 miles with it and still enjoying it. I'm not overly concerned with the CEL I got today but I do need to invest in that SGIII you got. I'm getting ready to do my trans drain n fill n I know that will come in handy.

Stock, with a few cosmetic mods.
Painfully silly, I realize that, but my faded out TUNDRA tailgate lettering has been bothering me for a while now. Instead of prying them off and reshooting them I just painted them by hand. Ahhhh, much better…

I just swapped mine out (21 non-flex fuel) with the green one. The stock one I removed was also green, so I think you’re good… other than possibly buying from Amazon. Lots of fake parts on there. Rockauto or a local dealer is a safer bet.

Rotated my tires today. No need for a photo. It still looks the same. I got rained out for my other mod. (Sway bar links) :( Maybe tomorrow. :fingerscrossed:

Well I just did something real stupid...

Attempted to change my PCV valve and when going down to install the new one it fell out of the socket and down into the depths of the abyss

So now I've got a loose brand new PCV valve living under the manifold. Ugh, that's gonna bother me.

Can you hook up a shop vac to a smaller diameter hose and then get it down there to retrieve it?

It's too tight to get in there. I can't even see it from looking down overhead so I don't know exactly where it landed.

As long as it’s not in the engine then I wouldn’t worry about it.

Don't feel too bad, I have a real nice snap on stubby ratchet living in my engine bay somewhere.
It makes me feel like  but also

Yeah, I'm not too worried about it. It's just gonna be chillin under the manifold for many years to come or until I have to remove the manifold for whatever reason. Sucks though because I just got that piece yesterday. Cheap part but still, kinda sucks.

Haha, I bet that would work.

I need to flip my truck upside down and shake it out.

Btw, waiting for my SGIII to arrive any hour now. :yay:

Got called a derelict and abandoned because I parked on the street for a couple days while I work on getting money up for the next part of the trip. Guy almost shat himself when I came out the camper yelling and cussing like a belligerent asshole.
Edit: went for a walk and made note of every derelict car, a 30 foot TT, and a massive pile (like 3 foot high) pile of dog shit and will report, this "rules for thee but not for me" and this being singled out shit isn't going to fly.

I dropped mine (both old and new) a few times. I used one of those magnets on a flex (has a small claw also) to fish it out. Easy peasy.

    Something like this:

I was thinking of something like that. Problem is though I can't even see it anymore. It went deep in and around a corner

I've got another one coming today though
