Hi everyone I’m new to the forum. I live in Orange County California and I’m looking for 2006 tundra 6 seater double cab body color white or black. I’ve had no luck finding any in those colors with six seat and not a salvage title. Just wanted to hop on here and ask if anyone maybe has seen one for sale in their area or on this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’d recommend Facebook groups but every post on there sees scammers come out of the woodwork, “I GOT THAT, LEMME MESSAGE YOU!” after which the attempted con begins.

Facebook Marketplace is your best bet I think. Or you’ll be buying one and converting the seating the way you want it, swapping front buckets for a bench.

My daughter looked for a long time and we were ready to fly anywhere in the western states. After two years looking found a 2 owner, white limited, double cab, 4X4 with 112,000 miles here in our town of Eureka. Paid 15K and so far rebuilt front lower control arms and replaced ball joints. Perfect body with some clear coat failure, otherwise very nice truck-what's important she loves it. Her previous truck was a 2000 Access Cab white 4X4 with 238,000 on it. She was just stuck on a 1st Gen, prior vehicles were both 4 runners. These trucks are out there, but can be hard to find. Me personally I would look for a Gen 2 or 2.5 due to availability. But, I miss my Gen 1, just a great size truck (son now drives my Gen 1).

I’m not saying they don’t exist, but I’ve never seen a front bench seat in a double cab. Seems to more benches in the access cabs.

Front bench seats in a double cab are sorta rare. My 06 Blue steel DC had one, that thing was the definition of a unicorn. I only saw one other double cab with a front bench seat…

Have you looked into getting a truck that fits your other criteria and swapping in a bench seat? Might make your search a lot easier.

Is the bolt pattern much different than the AC 60/40 bench seat? Normally, I’d think you could just swap it out with one from a salvage yard, but I’m guessing you already looked into that.

You're quite a ways away, but I would gladly trade my bench seat for buckets or sell the bench (maybe give it away) when I find myself some bucket seats.

I have seen them, but they are mostly base models with cloth and steel wheels. I dont think i have seen any of the higher trims with bench seat.
