Question for those that went from a 4.7L to a Tacoma. I know its a long shot.

I had a 2019 Tundra 5.7L was awesome. Would tow my about 4000lb boat fine.

I switched to a 2018 3.5L Tacoma because I started driving my own truck for work (at least they pay for gas). It tows fine on flat ground but going over the mountain it struggles.

I'm going to keep the Tacoma as my DD. But was wondering how the 4.7L would tow vs the Tacoma.

Thanks I figure the torque of a V8 makes a world of difference.
