    Not really. The best aftermarket exhaust systems include one to keep your exhaust from droning, or creating unwanted resonance in the cab.

    The TRD tail pipe removes the resonator.

    I have looked at that system but too spendy and I think it looks funny.

    Three no benefit to removing it. It just causes a little drone at certain throttle positions.
