Threw some foglights on the SR...
NiLights kit w full wiring harness and assembly for <$40. (Factory wiring in place but didn't want to pop for the replacement stalk switch at the moment.) Put in upgraded LED H11 bulbs. Excellent beam cutoff, good white light. Call it job done.

Curious why Toyota specs the 0w20?

Yes it is! Can hardly wait to play in the snow.

what parts do you spray? I’m too much of a miser to shell out the cash local shops want and was thinking of doing this as well.

Every nut and bolt I can see, the entire frame, front and rear axel components. Been doing it since new every fall season. Protects it and lets it breathe so the moisture drys up completely. I chose not to Ziebart/undercoat this truck for that reason.

In general less loud, but for sure the little ticking noise is almost gone or not noticeable at idle.

    Too many mods to come
Removed the rear shocks, next the bedcage and king bumps. Getting ready for the new stuff to arrive at some point. Still waiting for some info from the trans shop then figure that out.

Was also brake day today(R1 pads and rotors). Everything was going great until the final piston compression of the final corner… disaster came in the form of a ruptured piston seal…. And, of course, nobody had the $20 rebuild kit in stock. They did have plenty of $300 calipers though…. Bastards.

Dang dude. At this point I imagine your average cost per post eclipses everyone by a very large margin.

Put Raysbestos Element 3 brake pads on all 4 corners.

Still had the factory pads at 102,000 kms.

Wanted to ask in the home improvement thread but haven't been around long enough, this is good a place as any. (Mods feel free to move it)

Has anybody used this? I'm changing out the window panels and these are a lil rough

Should've been more clear. I stitched new windows into the camper that I scavenged from a pop up trailer. The fabric and the window are good, the screen not so much. I'm wondering if anyone has used that mesh tape to repair a window screen.

Don’t know? But they look cool, and the shop that did the install thought so. Maybe they keep my taillights from falling out? Just don’t know. Supposedly the limit straps on front are needed, not sure I believe that one though.:D
