Again, maybe I'm new here and I don't understand how things work. I am warning Tundra owners with a similar setup as mine (which I think its pretty common), that the Rokblokz flaps will still rub. I did not think to read the return policy, that is my fault, I made an expensive mistake and I would like to warn others in my situation. I do not understand why that is a problem. I have previously lurked on here with questions about modifying my truck. Maybe I came a little to hot out of the gate but your attitude sounds more like this is a fan club than a forum.

Also not one reply was, "hey sorry you're having that issue, a lot of have us have dealt with it, try this...".

It's because you didn't say that. You focused on slamming a vendor who has a clearly stated return policy.

As far as advice, maybe try shorter screws? @Fotnot ? A little help here. I know screwing is your department and I don't want to overstep.

This forum is one of my favorite places on the internet, next to @Fotnot 's OnlyFans page & @War Machine 's Knife and Flame Thrower Emporium. Most people introduce themselves before they start complaining. At least the ones that stick around.

Yeah I'm sure it is great for them, I imagine they pull pretty healthy margins off $200 plastic mudflaps with zero spillage because they don't accept returns.

I get it, I understand why people don't like me, what I have to say, or especially how I'm saying it. I just wanted to warn other new Tundra owners that aren't necessarily truck guys about my mistake. I've only lurked on here, most of the questions I've had, someone else has had before so there was no need to post. Going forward I may not post much because I am not an expert but I will be sticking around, I plan on having my truck for a very long time, barring a main bearing failure.

 

That's why I always use my neighbors address when I order / return stuff.

 

Yeah, Toyota's return policy is almost as stringent as @War Machine 's but with less flames and screaming.

 

Also it's more of people not liking how you are saying it with a tiny bit of not liking what you are saying.

Title went a little hard but I thought my post was truthful and respectful. Everyone getting hung up on "well you didn't read the policy, its your fault, stop complaining". While I acknowledge that, I still believe it's a bad policy and I don't want others making the same mistake.

Now focus on salvaging your reputation and respect. I'd suggest pivoting to engine oil. And asking in this thread what brand, weight and OCI you should be using.
