I can only find front hitches for 2021 and earlier Tundras or 2023 and later Tundras. Nothign for 2022. Is there something special about 2022 Tundras that prevents owners from mounting a front trailer hitch?

Hi BlackNBlu, thanks for the info above! The etrailer says I’ll need to remove the air dam. Does anyone one how much that will affect my mpg? Here is what etrailer said to me, see screenshot.

It seems like you should be able to just cut a notch in the spoiler to accommodate a front hitch. I don't thing it does much to improve MPG. Maybe 1MPG at highway speeds.

Possible I guess, but I doubt it. It isn't just the receiver portion that's in the way. The horizontal bar of the hitch looks like it would occupy the same space as the air dam when retracted.
Personally I think 1 mpg is optimistic even if the truck is stock. Taller tires and any lift? I'd be willing to bet it does absolutely squat for mpg.

I have stock tires and wheels, no lift. I have enjoyed the almost 25mpg at highway speeds. It beats my 2016 4Runner that has a larger engine and weighs much less.
