Buddy helped install these, clips weren't the best and the kit came with extra. Easier with 2 people, took about 2-3 hours total.

What do you think of the kit and do you feel it was worth the expense and effort?

I think it's individual whether 3 hours of your time and 2-300$ is worth it. It's cool but not necessary

I can't really tell from the photos, and while it seem to close off about 80% of the holes, it seems that there are still gaps open on sides for some reason?

Will these help to reduce dirt and debris from going into the engine and rear?

    I'm on the fence...

Mine took maybe an hour. Fronts I did without removing the wheels, rears could be done leaving them on but was much easier taking them off. Rear looks 100% better now that you don't have that ugly gap.

Took 1 1/2 hours and left the wheels on. They definitely cover more, but I wish there was more overlap to solve some of the small gaps they still leave.

Do any of these include the fuel line protection option?

To those that have, thank you for all the pictures!

Thank you. I know their website just shows one piece but wasn't sure if it also included a driver side piece to cover the filler neck and the line that runs on that side.

    Placing an order now.

These are a great idea, but the price is insane price for what it is.

Looking forward to see another option.

I'm wondering about these as well.

We SALT the heck out of the roads where I live. Chatted with my neighbor who has a 2018 Chevy. Said his truck (and showed me) had more open wheel wells. Said it made it easier to clean off and not trap any salt water etc and make things hard to clean.

Any thoughts either way? Hard for me to say without any data.

Good thread, but it’s really a shame Toyota would not have a good OEM wheel well liner when they leave the factory. I made my own that are a little rough but work for now.

The version for sale comes with all black hardware. There should be some new pics of them sometime soon.

I wish either Toyota did a better job on these wheel well liners to close up all the gaps or there were aftermarket liners that would just replace everything that is already there.

All these bits and pieces to fill the gaps just looks like a half baked solution to me.

Ha, I didn’t even notice that was just the front set. Find it odd they’d not offer a rear set as well. Little step just for the 2 front ones.

I decided to make my own wheel well liners for the back and still figuring out the fronts. I bought a 36" x 60" x 1/8 " black rubber floor matt and made a template (which is reversable for the other side) and used four of the existing push in fasteners (the two at the top and two on either end) plus added an aluminum bracket in the back and added another 4 push in fasteners. I tucked the edges of the black rubber liner behind the existing plastic liner all the way around. I think it turned out pretty good for $35 in materials.

I now finished the front two wheel well liners. It was easier work that in the back as you are dealing with less material hanging over the tire holding it up to line up and make holes for securing in place. I re-used all the existing push in plugs holes but needed to buy some extra push plugs. I also removed those two useless pieces in the front that say FL and FR on them.
