What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

How difficult of an installation is this

 

I might need to get one of these. I have one of the normal "fast charger" Amazon ones. It manages to overheat the phone more than it charges it...

 

Does this work better than the SE Toyota "OEM" version? I purchased the kit and installed from Sparks Parts but performance was terrible. Would not stay charging likely due to the camera "bump" on newer iphones that prevents the phone from lying perfectly flat. The design of this version may work better

 

Get the phone case that's compatible with the magnetic charger and you will be fine.Phone stays in place

 

Supposedly, yes. But i dont have the oe version to compare to. I have a case on my iphone 12 pro max with magsafe and it charges just fine for the short test run i did. This is the case i am using and it puts the backside leveled with the camera bump.

Takes about 15 minutes or so. The most difficult part is removing the large piece of trim below the glove compartment since the tabs can be finicky. That allows access to the blower. The three screws holding the blower in are T20 torx heads, just an FYI.

I made the switch from 0W-20 to Kirkland 5W-30. It has been said that using 5W-30 will quiet the engine and I was skeptical about that. They are right, it does make a difference.

I do believe so. I've read it here and on other Toyota forums/reddit. You either can send an email to toyota_social@toyota.com or fill out this request form. You need to attach a pic of your odometer reading, though.
