This place is a gateway drug to an instagram account for my truck. Loving the chromestoppers @EC1. I’d say it’s a perfect match, but you can decide yourself.

oh, and here’s a close up of the badge mod from the door badge…will probably go with Rave’s version.

I like the truck but feel like the hood badges are out of place. Silver is a clean color that shows well as is. Maybe that helps that dreaded sun glare?

I like the monochrome look. One of the things that sort of bugs me about mine is the blue exterior accents.

You mean the actual badges or the entire “scoooops”? Probably replacing them with lower profile 3D prints from rave. Otherwise, I’m happy with how it breaks up the hood and does help a smidge with the glair.

Should I paint grille mustache white? Or is chrome stoppers cover good enough ( I'm going trough car wash every 3-4 days )

Installed wireless charger ( again - the one from aliexpress died) - it is very slow one, looking for alternatives

If you have windchill pearl, the match (at least in my experience, see pic) is not close. I ended up going to a body shop and got a much better match.upload_2024-10-27_21-33-36.jpg

Personally, I like the small bit of chrome. Breaks it all up a little.

I don't mind a little bit of chrome but on limited that grille mustache for some reason is painted silver- not chrome. Nothing else is painted silver on my truck so it looks odd. If I've had a chrome mustache I would not change it, it would be ok to me

Refitted my ark splash guards to fit my uca’s a bit better. I also upgraded the factory push in clips with some beefy universal ones. If anyone is wondering the ark splash guards are pretty damn awesome I got the front and rear installed

Great tire but definitely a bit rough and have had some trouble getting them balanced. I’ll definitely be switching to a bigger tire after I get some more use out of these bad boys. My back tire sticks out maybe a fraction more than the front but I assume that’s because I don’t have the trd axles

gentle tug on the headliner by the sunroof with it all open gets you all sorts of access. Pops right back on. Rear pillar also pops apart so I fished through there.

Will never have that problem thankfuly, the little woman bought her own 2023 Tacoma. After looking at the Fab Four bumper swap on my Tundra she did ask if I could do her's too.

I’d leave well enough alone. You have some silver/chrome accents and need the color offset imo. I like the break up of white/black with red accents but also think the red steps are too loud. I myself have been guilty way too many times of over tinkering just to make my vehicle unique. Ends up getting cheesy.

    All just my opinions.

From Rave…extremely overpriced, especially because I had to sand down the cheap 3D printing job, but they were my only option (apart from no fake vents).

    Lots of stuff!
Scored some 1UP bike racks off of the craigslist!

These are so compact compared to the Yakima front tire units that were on there before.

Test fit was done with my wife's Marin gravel bike.

This is one of the reasons I made my own instead of ordering from RAVE...wasn't happy with the 3d printing quality or price. I cut a blank on my laser. You're done already, but if you're interested, I wrote it up here.

    Finished result attached.
