I have been monitoring the MSRP (no other fees or sales tax) for my truck since 2022 up here in Canada off of the Toyota.ca website. So far the price jump from 2023 to 2024 has been the largest. Since 2022 the truck has gone up 10.7%. That is about 4.5% higher than the average inflation rate between the same time period. I also bet on average that people salaries are not keeping up with that as well.

    2022 : $67,905
    2023 : $69,000
    2024 : $72,560
    2025 : $75,170

I'm just about to buy the same truck as a 2024 model. A 2025 just hit the lot and I was shocked by the increase. The Canadian limited trd off road is finally blacked out with 20" wheels. No more Frankentrim. Doesn't look like any content was actually added though.

I am happy for you, post a few pictures once you get it home and in the driveway.

I love my truck (June 23 build) and have not had any issues with it at all other than bringing it in for two minor recalls. I just noticed after you pointed it out that the 25's now do have the 20" wheels on them like our US cousins. That is a big mistake in my book, the 18" wheels are far better to get more tire sidewall and a better ride.

I know for those in the US the pricing was in loonie & toonie dollars but I am assuming the % increase from year to year in the US would be about the same based on the MSRP only. That was the point I was trying to get across. Tough times for the average Joe to keep up with those increases year after year.

Vancouver Canada, 4K off MSRP (toyota.ca), TRD PRO. Hard negotiations also. I was there for 2hrs.

It's crazy to see such deep discounts in the USA, here in canada at least where I am at many aren't even budging off MSRP still.

I do like the 18" wheels more. It's a shame Toyota couldn't decide on either chrome or black trim. I've been to 2 dealers here in the last week and they're not interested in deals. 1k off MSRP and 2k in accessories is all they're willing to offer. Toyota does have discounted finance rates for 2024 models that makes the price a bit more palatable.

Looking at a new 2024 Tundra 1794...$71k MSRP.
Currently have dealer at about $9k off + $2k Toyota Cash (approx $11k off). Thoughts on the deal?

I got 12.5k off before the $3k dealer cash in September. Felt like a good deal. 2024 Limited Hybrids with the standard bells and whistles of most Limiteds.

Got my TRD OR in Vancouver area as well 2 weeks ago. Got $7000 off and a great trade in value for my 2022 army green Tacoma ( more than I bought it for myself). Deal was too good to pass up.

That's a smoking deal if the $7K was off MSRP (without any add on parts). Damn dealers locally are loading up their new vehicles with all kinds of stuff now like ceramic like coatings, and accessories to boost up the price of the vehicle. It's hard to find a bare stock Tundra. You made out like a thief! nice!

Any word/thoughts on 2025 TRD Pro?

Should I still expect MSRP or MSRP+Dealer markup, or is it time to start negotiating the sales price down?

You can try, I sure did but Pro's sell and they know it ...couldn't get much off but was NOT paying mark-up. Look what people are paying for grill changes, new shocks, rims, lightbar, tail pippes ect .. for me the cost was worth it to not have to upgrade everything like on my 2016 Platinum. Still totally happy with fit and finish - 1 yr and over 10k miles now.

A little late in posting in this thread but here it is. I bought a 2024 1794 Limited Edition from Team Toyota in Schererville Illinois. MSRP was $79,268 and I got $8,468 in discounts for an out the door price of $70,700. Traded in my 2023 1794 to the dealership for $55,000. The attached sheets show taxes and add-ons.

Looks like a good deal to me. I just put cash down on a TRD Pro and, of course, no discounts for me, but I did see that the dealers around D.C. are now discounting all trims except for Capstone or TRD Pro.

Also, I know it's small potatoes, but I never understood document fees and how they differ from one area to another. I see that your fee was $225. From all three dealers I received quotes from, the document fee was $998. Just a silly cash grab.

    Enjoy the new truck!

The exact same dealer I bought from told my business partner that TRD Pros were marked up over sticker. (He inquired after seeing mine at work).

Currently looking to get into a tundra from a 2022 TRD Off road premium with the whole TRD package.

truck has 35k on it so I can get close to 40 out of it.

im trying to get into a limited without moving my payment which lands me at a $53,900 max vehicle price.

with MSRP at 65… I feel like this is possible but haven’t started calling yet. Seeing 0% APR in Texas and I’m in Arkansas so no problem traveling around.
