    Attempt relearning section: https://www.tundras.com/threads/throttle-body-cleaning-and-relearning-psa-how-to.121328/

It takes a few minutes and it's tedious, but it's fixed folks having the opposite problem, where barely tapping the pedal surges the truck forward, so it makes sense it would also resolve pedal lag just the same.

Aaaah, the joys of drive by wire.

    I do that, too.

It was a joke from my early teen years before anything, from a flippant comment a less-than-sane restaurant/BOH corworker made one night at a FL lake resort I worked at. That promptly rolled into tagging fodder. It stuck as a table name in my DJ days, I was known to go off on weird tangents. It stuck around through my 20s+ because I'm a resourceful SOB. :notsure:

At this point, people call me 'shift' or 'shifty' in real life, probably just as often as my birth name or the phonetic first initial of my birth name. I don't mind. It could be worse, down in New Port Richey/Port Richey/Hudson area, one of the biker dudes I hung out with, his nickname was "Dog Shit". Literally had it on his business card he'd hand out to people, I'm sure I probably have one somewhere in a memory box. Very resourceful, very solid dude.

Feeler post: Wifey has a silver, slim PS2, two guitar hero guitars, a few of the GH games, and other miscellaneous games as well as other Sony controllers.

Would anyone here be interested in buying one or all before we dig up everything from the closet?

I mean, back about 22 years ago when I first moved into my neighborhood and was doing a hell of a lot more public safety volunteerism liaising with APD, I used the word 'ignorant', as in, "... clearly we need to inform people who are ignorant about things you just don't do in the city". This was in response to 10 street parked cars in a stretch of 25 houses getting their windows smashed out, with 5 guns stolen, across 3 vehicles, purses and laptop bags stolen, all because people left them visible in the seat or floorboard. Like, when you live literally a couple of miles tops from the capital of one of the largest, highest density cities in the SE USA, how do you not know you can't leave valuables sitting in plain site, and furthermore, who tf leaves their SA in their car, I want that on my person at all times, what if someone breaks into the house and my main piece is in my car?!

I got my ass reamed by someone (the person with 3 guns in their car) about, "I ain't STUPID, so don't call me STUPID, OK?!" (Clearly, after a few back-and-forth emails, this person was actually stupid, but that's a story for another day)

Like, "No, I'm just saying, you're not stupid, so we need to take a minute to explain, in high density areas with lots of foot traffic, you don't leave valuables in your car, and you really shouldn't leave your heat in a car either ..."

I ended up having to walk away from that conversation. I tripped up on it two other times in the first 3-5 years, once was public safety related, the other was code enforcement/property related. i.e. " well, I guess they're ignorant of city code, eh?"

I haven't made that mistake again. Clearly people don't truly know the definition of the word anymore or can't extract the intended meaning via context clues. And there are apparently 2(ish) definitions. But in all three of the cases I just mentioned, which I remember vividly, those at the receiving end, directly or indirectly, "ignorant" equaled "stupid" to them. Which technically is 1B, but in all three cases I just mentioned, with context clues you can clearly see I was implying 1A or 2 in these defs.

Yeah, ignorant people think ignorant means stupid. Let's be honest with ourselves, sometimes ignorant people are stupid. As anyone can be ignorant of anything. And lots of people are stupid. lol

Leaving valuables in plain sight inside your unattended car in the city is definitely stupid.

I always understood shifty as 2b, we used the term similar to blazing saddles. Ignorant is often mistaken for being stupid and used as such but just like you, I have only used it as it being a lack of understanding or knowledge on a particular subject matter. I'm a city boy and admit that I'm ignorant AF when it comes to gardening, using a chainsaw or other yard tools. My ignant (slang) ass be out there anyway acting like I've done it before.

So once a week I get food doordashed to my work. There's several small, local chain restaurants, within less than two miles, that I like to support. From tacos to pizza and wings (Torchy's Tacos, Crust Pizza, Jet's Pizza, Center Court Pizza). I always tip the doordasg drivers $4.20. honestly I think since most of these restaurants are only a mile or even a block away, I could tip less. But I get a chuckle out of $4.20.
Y'all think I tip too little, too much, or just right?

Before the ones that know me comment on pizza not being keto, two of those places offer cauliflower crust. Plus it's ok to bend the rules once or twice a week, as long as I keep up with my exercise.

Always better to tip a bit too much than a bit too little. IMO.

Maybe it's different in your area, but doordash drivers around here aren't doing it because they want to.
