I forgot about wildlife pics. Backyard is a life/death struggle.

Almost made it through the dry season with no fires. As a crow flies this is about 2 miles from me.

Yeah that’s not good. That scant moisture we had last week was the first time it’s rained up here in a long time. It’s crispy out there

Nice. Looks like it just landed on something. It’s got that Bruce Lee Year of the Dragon look.

I'm looking at it on my phone. Does he have something pinned to the ground?

Sometimes it's not about security. One of the reasons for VPN is change your source IP address location to something other than where you really are. In other words, the site you're visiting thinks you are in a different city, state, or even country.

Cool, I always root for the predators. I do like the other birds too. But the predators have limited success.

Mines a red tail, those are most common around here, but Harris hawks are 2x the size of this beef cake and we have lots of those too. The local desert museum does a raptor show, it’s awesome

Think our awesome fire response team got it under control. Never good to see these flare up though. Especially when it's been bone dry this summer.

Edit: County FD just released the statement that fire was caused by human activity. Stupid idiots.
