I've had my Android Auto disconnect even when using just the wired connection. This leads me to believe the interference issue is related to the truck's built-in RF and not specifically the Bluetooth and WiFi connection between the truck and my phone. Dunno.

Same here. Unfortunately for me, it happens ~1/2 mile from my house as well as another place ~ 3 miles away, both on a highly traveled routes for me. And if on a phone call, it obviously causes issues with the conversation too. Because of the problem, I can't use Android Auto, although I sure wish I could. Sure hoping for a fix in a hopefully soon (spring?) update. First world problems I know but this should work and Toyota should have released a fix by now. Love the truck otherwise. Infotainment connection issues (which includes generic Bluetooth audio connection problems) on this truck are very annoying.

Starting to think it may be the "Google Pixel Phones" as I'm getting this Connection timeout lately during my drives...
Maybe Pixel 7 as well have this issue...

I upgraded my Pixel 8 to a Pixel 9 hoping to fix the connection problem. The Pixel 9 is worst then the 8.

Try clearing out any un-used devices on the truck. I got the 9PXL last Thursday and have since clocked about 800 miles of driving with AA running, and have not had one dropped connection. I did erase my old phone prior to connecting the new one.

I was just going to post something similar, upgraded from P7P to the 9PXL and have not had this issue anymore. I did delete my P7P from my profile/truck before pairing the 9PXL

Pixel 7 Android 14, 24 Tundra and I get a timeout every time I drive past a specific spot on the highway near DFW airport. That's the only time it happens but it's got to be headunit issue. If I turn off BT and connect via usb-c, I still get the error. Not sure what the airport pumps out in that particular direction, but same spot every time but only northbound, not southbound.

It's got to be signal interference at some specific frequency. There are a few spots around the city I live in that do the same exact thing. Because of its specificity it's gotta be signal interference, either from cell or other type of communication towers/buildings.

I had upgraded from a Pixel 8 Pro to Pixel 9 Pro XL. Same issue (Android Auto or Apple Car play temporarily loses connection between the phone and truck).

Just did the Android 15 update to the new Pixel 9 Pro XL. Also same issue.

Does anyone have this issue (Android Auto or Car play temporarily disconnecting) with anything other than a non-Pixel phone or iPhone?

The other annoying issue I have is the phone's Bluetooth audio occasionally not working (silent in both ends of the conversation) when making phone calls, forcing me to switch my phone to handset or the phone speakerphone. Same question as above - Does anyone have this phone call Bluetooth audio issue with anything other than a non-Pixel phone or iPhone?

I have the exact same issue with my Pixel 9 Pro XL. Please let Google know. The more people that report the problem, the fast we will get a fix.

I discovered that my 25+ year old Valentine One Radar detector was somehow causing my disconnections.
