Does your rear passenger window safety reverses about 2/3 of the way up when rolling up?

My 22 has had a reoccurring problem when I automatically roll up the passenger rear window. At first the dealer just reprogrammed the switch and it worked fine for a day or two then it started happening again. The dealer then told me that it was dog hair inside but there's no way dog hair can get in there and besides why didn't the other rear window have the same problem and why does the safety reverse always occur at exactly the same spot even after some dog hair was cleaned out? I don't think even if there was some dog hair in there it would stop the actuator.

The dealer then replaced the window seal under warranty and the problem went away for nearly a month and a half and it's just recurred. I ran my finger over the section and noticed that there is an irregularity in the metal with a difference in the gap width where the window seal is placed at that point.

Anyone else with this issue? It's driving me crazy because the only solution has been to inch it up once I reach that point which nullifies the benefit of the one click window feature.

There is a procedure in TIS (techinfo.toyota.com) on how to relearn window travel and travel resistance. You don't need any special tools, it's just order of operations.

If I remember correctly (there were three different procedures related to the windows in the same doc, so maybe I mixed something up), it was something like this:
    - the ignition on "run," but don't start the truck
    - make sure the window operation lock on the driver door is off
    - go to the affected door (you can't program through the driver switch)
    - open with auto open with one click
    - hold for 4+ seconds on auto-open. There should be an audible "clunk" as the motor tries to move beyond the travel
    - close the window with one auto-click
    - if it gets reversed, close it by holding the close button
    - once closed, hold auto close for 6+ seconds until you hear another "clunk" of the motor.
    - reopen by holding auto open; once closed hold 1+ sec; open by holding auto; once opened hold 1+ sec

If I mixed the timing or the order, it might not work. You can try it, but if it doesn't, get access to TIS and look up the exact procedure.
