Didn’t think a steering wheel would bring me happiness but this one sure has. Feels nice in the hands.

Nice. Damn it. More money now. I will say that I have gotten use to the volume switch but it's still ass backwards.

    Pro
    - They will brake and brake extremely hard
    - The bite is amazing and you can feel it once you make sure you’ve bled your brakes and bed them properly

    Cons
    - Lots of dust
    - Wear quickly
    - These are entry level track pads which means they can start squealing early on in their lifespan
    - Eats rotors, so you’ll have to check spec thickness every 5k miles if you’re a heavy footer.

Here’s a chart break down of different types of “Stuff”.

I was thinking going with EBC rotors. What cryo do you recommend?

Dust I can deal with. Like I said the Hawk LTS dust a lot. My job is 3 miles away, so not time to be going fast or braking hard. When I do go on normal long drives, I am not heavy on the brakes. I also hardly go fast, considering I have a supercharger. It's even hard for me to believe that I don't go fast anymore. Never heard about rotor wear and checking them every 5k. I guess that's if you are really on the breaks a lot. I also thought about Green Stuff as a 2nd option.

Do the rest (no silver and chrome and new HU). It feels like a whole new truck.

Man that’s if they’re in stock. I’m debating whether or not to go find those Stoptech Cryos or just go OE or resurface route.

    This seems utterly ridiculous!

It's a consumer truck. Why would I be checking wear every 5k?

I got 125k miles out of my factory pads and rotors.

I fail to see the benefit of installing this " high performance" pads and rotors.

    What am I missing?

were leasing until the rates come down then we will buy it. got it for 1850 under MSRP so it was about 80k.

just about every single dealer in the bay area is a 6k-10k mark-up on the pros, our dealership included.

Also got the best tire and wheel warranty that covers Fobs, paintless dent repair, and windshield chips for 495.00

    Good plan.

Source private financing to pay off the dealer financing, plus you get the rebates using dealer financing.

Not much penalty for " paying" off early.

Dealer still gets their premium, but you save lots of interest.

    Good plan.

The different pad material is harder on the rotors. Checking every 5k is ridiculously extreme though but you definitely won’t get a 125k miles out of the yellow pads and rotors. Go with the green pads and you’ll be fine.

    Whatever floats your boat, honestly.

I knew these pads would eat up OE rotors with the braking power they had. But that’s only with OE rotors. Most people would pair these up with the cryo treated rotors.

I wouldn’t want my rotors and pads to last 125k miles though - then again that’s just me.

Just a little too big for the spot, but first impressions is pretty good. Definitely the most expensive air freshener I’ve bought, but will how long it lasts.

Even though you guys got the Revesol, the switch from my plastic OE wheel to the leather OE wheel was amazing too!

I'm don't have the LRA, I've had a Transfer Flow 46 gallon since March? I love it, plain and simple. 500-600 miles out of a tank, steel instead of plastic, it helps out a ton when hauling my new camper, as mileage dips into the 6-8 MPG range. Planning a OTT tune here in the near future, and hopefully a regear to 4.88's at some point to help out more.

After the nephew helped install the RCI skid plate last week figured a good reward was testing it out a bit. Took him and my kids out on forest roads with some great views of Lake Superior.
