Wanna see where and how you mounted your SC3 or Ultragauge. What are you monitoring?

That's what I'm thinking. I don't want it in the dash where the sun will kill it. What trans temps do you see driving around? What year Tundra?

Mine is a 2020. I will watch it tomorrow but it's under 200 degrees. I have a trans cooler as well.

Any other pics of the Scangauge 3 installed? Seems like the Tundra234 install is pretty good as it can easily be hidden from prying eyes by putting a microcloth on top of it, which i usually keep there anyway.

Thank you. Is 4.75" tube the coupler that gots in to the ball joint on the vent mount? Did see tubes in 4.75" in that link?

Mine did not matter how tight I made it. Of course the SG3 is light compared to a phone.

Mine doesn’t vibrate at all with the SG3 - never tried a phone attached to the mount - I use a pro clips mount for my phone on the other side of the wheel. Also attached picture for what I use for OP. Think the part numbers/skus may have changed since I ordered last year?

Love my SGIII, does sometimes fail to power up, only once in a while though. I like it mounted high almost in line of sight.

Are you using it as a stand alone plugged i to the OBD or is it on a splitter?

Mine shares a splitter with my Pedal Monster. Once in a while it doesn't power up but it's strange that yours does it as a standalone.

Yea, weird. I believe I have it on some sort of delay whereby it comes on about 5 seconds after ignition, or something like that. Seemed to make sense at set up a while back. Only once in a while does it fail to power up. Maybe 1-2 a month?

I haven't set the alarms for any of the tranny temps at all since I have a cooler kit installed. Right now i just have alarms set for tire pressure and battery voltage.

    not @Tundra234 , but I set mine @ 210.

I run it pinned open. I'm in Houston.

it rarely goes over 185 now.

I do not actively monitor TC.

Thanks guys. Mine are both set for 230* which I hit on from time to time, and having a ‘21, I’m without a cooler. Love to install one though.
