2024 Tundra Limited TRD Off Road
Greetings everyone. I have been reading these posts for a while now but have failed to introduce myself. I am new Toyota owner. I have been saving for a truck for a long time "18 years." My son recently turned 16 and it was time to hand off my VW Jetta and purchase a new vehicle. I was looking at purchasing a Tacoma to be able to explore Colorado and do a little off the grid camping. I also needed something to haul around the family's mountain bikes or skis and be able to tow a camping trailer or a boat. Once the family sat in the Tacoma it was clearly too small, so I went with the Tundra. I went with a Limited TRD Off Road Hybrid. So far, I love driving it and it has performed well off road. The only complaints I have are the wind noise and window rattle on the driver side front door and the lack of recovery hooks. The dealership has attempted and failed to fix the window rattle. I purchased aftermarket aFe recovery hooks that attach around the sway bar. Caution if you put these on read the posts on this sight. The nut that holds these bolts in place in the frame tends to be poorly welded and brakes free easily. Have a great day!
