What is included in the 1300 dollar “dealer fee”? If it’s just a charge for paperwork or something like that then I’d find a different dealer.

Even at an SR5 level, that is pretty decent with the TRD OR package. If it’s a Limited then you should grab it.

As far as Canadian prices go, that’s not a good deal but I’m not sure what you guys pay down there. That’s a $48000 ($66500cdn) truck up here. Not sure how your start price is almost 58k, even with the discount it’s too high.
I might be missing something as far as what you guys are paying for or what you’re getting, but a cloth seat, no sunroof, 5.5 box off-road is 48k before any discounts.

Dual Electric Softex seats and all the TRD OR transmission stuff?
No Nannie’s and gadgets to break.
    Sounds like my truck.

I actually test drove a Limited TRD OR with tonneau cover, spray in bed liner door edge guards and a 6.5 box last week to see if I wanted more bells and whistles. Dealer had it in a very tight parking spot. All the sensors were driving me crazy just pulling it out.

Decided I am quite happy without the technology package, bigger screen, cameras, JBL, ventilated front seats and seat memory.
(Those are about all the add ons)
That and the $17000 plus my truck to buy it! (23 with 17,000 miles, lifted and many other goodies on it)

So, if you like the truck with what it comes with, it seems like a decent price if you can get them to drop
The dealer fees and electronic filing!

and $600 for electronic filing fee? i thought verizon was bad at $35 to check a box in a computer system (activation fee)

its SET, they dont have to follow the rules :)

    hate them and GST also

at least my dealer is reasonable, $175 for doc fee's (and thats the only fee they charge)

That's a better deal than I got on my 2024 SR5 4x4 (non OR). Mine did come with quite a few dealer add-on's (safe, dash cam, rear USB, ...)
But I bought my 2024 way back in September of 2023 and they were not offering much of anything in the way of discounts back then.

Is this just what they offered you or have you gone through several rounds of negotiation? I'd haggle for more, offer them less to make up for the outrageous fees to get a truly good deal. I would take another 3k off the offer and stand on that.

need a pic of Maroney sticker with factory pricing and msrp...I smell KERFLUFFEL COOKING. There are customer cash and dealer cash incentives. Get that info and shop it...$50k is a big investment to make a mistake

without a window sticker for reference we can't help you, what you have is a deal sheet or addendum label

Unless that dealer fee includes a 100k extended warranty its a bunch of profit fluffing BS.
Also, what in the holy heck is a $585 electronic filing fee? Absolutely would ask to see the specifics on what exactly is included in that charge.

Fees are $2300 which is quite high. Average is more like 1/2 that.

You paid 57k for a 2024 platinum? You got one hell of a deal.

    Any updates on the negotiations?

Did you receive that 7k off and able to use the promotional financing? 13% off seems like a pretty solid deal to me. I’m starting to shop for one myself right now.

I'm concerned that they use the term "market value" as the starting point instead of telling you the suggested retail price.

$1400 or so off that “deal” would just be them taking off the outrageous fees they’re charging. There are so many resources for you: kbb, Edmund’s TMV, leasehackr, etc. Check out those sites. Get some quotes from other dealers, there is no shortage of these trucks. Also see what used 2023s and 2024s are selling for, the market has plenty of nearly new “used” Tundras that people are getting out of due to the engine recall.

IMO, that price you got on a truck Toyota is struggling to move (there’s a ton of inventory right now) seems pretty high, like thousands high. And as others have said, you need to start with the window sticker and negotiate down from there to invoice or less. You can find the invoice price at kbb or Edmunds. My guess is you’re paying more than sticker on this deal, which will put you terribly upside down (thousands and thousands of dollars) on the truck the second you drive it off the lot. That seems crazy to me in this market. You can likely do a lot better.

Just jumped on leashackr. There are pretty steep discounts on the 2024s to purchase. They are averaging. $3500-$5500 under INVOICE including all fees, dealer nonsense, etc. One example over there has a WINDOW STICKER price of $62,500ish and a sale price (what you would pay out the door except for your state tax, dmv fee) of $54300ish. It’ll be well worth your time to do the research and contact multiple dealers… lots of inventory and lots of deep discounts to be had. Good luck!

It took me three months of searching all over the country and letting dealerships compete. I finally got two local dealers to compete with each other for 24 hours and ended up pulling the trigger on one. It was the end of the month so dealers were looking to move to hit quotas.
