Funny that you say that. We switched to Maxwell House from Folgers a few years ago because we preferred MH.

My old lady brought home some limited shit from the bucks, the medium was more of a blonde roast, the dark was just right. But we get down on the Guatemala Antigua and Cassie ciello roasts for the most part

I’ve been…… pressed for time, in the mornings lately, so I’ve been grinding and getting the kettle ready the night before. Eye balling it would definitely be easier than busting out the triple beam balance every time!

You just gotta find the right scoop!

I think I started having a daily cup of coffee at 12 or 13  I know a guy that doesn't drink the stuff. Thinking about it now, he might be a lizard.

One nice thing about using the el cheapo drip like I do is that it has a timer. Wake up, walk out to the kitchen and it's ready to go.

I know, right? A true connoisseur should be going for more of a pure Kona blend straight from Hawaii brewed over lava lock and blessed by the goddess Pele.

Or did I miss something in the translation? :burp:

That reminds me, I still need to find a fellow 1st Gen enthusiast who uses a 58mm portfafilter on their setup. I have something for them.

:pccoffee: 3 heaping scoops of whatever the little lady buys (Usually dark or classic roast) in a peasants drip machine is my routine. Never grew up drinking it or cared for the taste. Similar to when I used to drink beer though. I acquired a taste for it due to the results :burp:
Pop it down, jack me up, shoot me out, flyin' down the highwayo_O... now this got stuck in my head:mad:

Ooooooo I’m drivin my life away….

Every time I hear that line in the song, I think of this song. “Waiting for the sun again … drink it, smoke it, stick it in.”

Just a wee bit less uppity though.

If you're gonna drink Kona, save the money and just drink the boiled water with a rock in it, same flavor. Now Jamaica Blue Mountain, that's a different story, if ya have the budget for it. :)

Look, just because I don't drink coffee doesn't mean I'm a lizard. Just give me a main line of diet coke and I'm good.

I have no idea what's been said in the last page or so, but I do love the smell of coffee. My gf talks shit because I'll pop open a diet coke 30 minutes after waking up.

I cant believe that there's not a CV joint only option for front axles. I've done a handful of VW/Porsche cv's and you can just buy the parts that you need from any number of manufactures.

I've got torn boots on both sides and i'm slinging hella grease. After this weekend's dirt/dust they're going to be past due. With Toyota discontinuing the axle assemblies, and aftermarket being generally shitty, it would be a game changer to find a cv joint that will work for our axle shafts.

If somebody could do all the work/research and spoon feed me a part number that would be great

I ran my Advanced Auto CVs (likely Carquest or whoever makes them) for over 2 years with open boots and they never skipped a beat. Made like an Afgani AK apparently.

I've ran into a dead end with everything I've tried to research on this.

If you have $10k to drop on a Solo XLT kit, there's a $2,300 LT axle kit for it with part time hubs, it uses a 930 inner CV joint and outer u-joint with a stub axle, that should be rebuild-able...
