Teq customs headlights

Has anyone bought these headlights and had the same issue as me? If so what did you do? So I bought these headlights from Teq customs but it wasn't till after I had purchased them and made some custom adjustments that I realized and I even emailed their customer service and they confirmed the problem that 2005-2006 double cab Tundras don't have any dark corner lights that are sold individually on their own to match the dark headlights I got from them. They only offer clear headlights but that would look goofy having clear Corner lights with dark headlights I feel like. If I have to I will buy the entire headlight assembly from Amazon or somewhere and then just resell just the headlights because I can only find headlight and corner light combos.

 

Yea I don't think they sell smoked or blacked out corners separately.

 

Bake the corners open and finish the background in a matching black.

 

I bought spray lens tint for the corners. Not awesome, but not terrible.

 

I emailed them and asked if there was a reason they didn't make them and they said that for some reason those do not play nicely when they are trying to do their custom work to it. I'm not sure what would be different between 05 and '06 versus 04 because they have them for 04s.

 

is that yours in the picture? What options did you choose? There are quite a few options

That should be super close to what I ordered. That was a picture I found online but with the options I chose the best I can tell that's what mine will look like. Some of the options on their website weren't super obvious what it would look like as a final product and I also went with a BiLed instead of the Morimoto because it was a fairly large upcharge and I really couldn't see the added benefit since they said they had never see one of the leds burn out. It wasn't until after I had already bought them that I realized that they didn't offer a blacked out corner light. I made by one of the complete sets off Amazon or something and just sell the headlights since the only other place I can find Corner lights that are blacked out or in a headlight combo.
