Oil change today, 7 months/1800miles
    Napa 5-W30 synthetic blend (5qt for $17 can't beat it), and a YZZD3.
Noticed for the first time today that the filters come with the O-ring PreLubed
Greased the entire driveline, UBJ, and for me, My Cam-Bolts.
I get about 1/2 inch push out on my rear Yoke when greasing it  how's that compare to what you guys see?
Placed an order for some other things.

That’s typical when it’s full of grease. You should even see a little squeeze out.

Hell yeah, I already told mama bear the dates. I feel like kids should get sick/vacation days from school without it affecting them. We don’t pull them out for much, but when we do, it’s more enrichment than they’d see at school in a week.

I've been toying with ideas on how come up with a solution to keep water/dust/mud out of my intake and engine bay since I removed my fender liners and cut the fenders to clear the wheel/tire setup. I originally removed the tube that goes from the airbox to the fender since the opening was pointing rearward towards the tire. Didn't really love it. I've seen the firewall snorkels and a bunch of other ways to do this, but I just didn't like those either. You could buy an intake/prefilter sock, but that still doesn't close the hole in the fender. You could cap it off, but I would think that IAT's would get pretty high so that idea went out the window. I've seen plates made with MERV filter material, but didn't love that either if mud got slung up on it then you're choking the airbox. I figured I'd try rotating the tube 180* but that doesn't work so don't even bother lol. I really wanted to have some sort of filter aiming forward with a prefilter sock, but due to time and space constraints I wasn't able to find anything that worked.

Here's what I wound up with.
    • I removed the lower intake box and cut the tube right up against section it meets the fender. Do not cut the flat section that is reducing the tube diameter. I accidentally cut a little too much out so I wound up filling it with clear silicone. Silicone is not needed, but I put some in anyways.

End result is you get to keep your factory sealed intake, retain function of pulling air from the fender, but with the added benefit of not worrying about water, dust, and mud getting into your intake for ~$30. This also allows you to remove your intake box in the same fashion that it originally removes with one added step of undoing the hose clamp and removing the silicone elbow in the fender. I still would love to have a prefilter somewhere, but one of these days I'll revisit this, but this gets me going with peace of mind for this trip coming up with the TX boys.

Decided to park her until the parts come in this week (Wednesday eta). That fan bearing bracket was getting sketchy. No sense in blowing out the new fan and rad that are only 10 months old.
I did wash and ceramic it again today, along with the other 2 in the fleet. Weird I just ceramic coated them all 1 month ago... it rained... and it was like it was gone, wtf?
Should be good for winter now I hope.

Cheapest way, yes. YSK, SeatJackers makes a molle panel that fits in that exact spot, while also making the seat more comfortable, molle panel is great for a myriad of things, fire extinguisher, SA, flashlight (tactical, flesh, or otherwise) or any number of other things. Not cheap, but very pro/custom looking.

I always wanted one of those after seeing what Stacey David did with his on Gearz or Trucks. Wait, maybe it wasn’t a Comanche. Well, this is what I wanted one of, but doubt you’d ever find one for a reasonable price anymore. This was probably 15-20yr ago.

Well, you gotta use the ultra cheap paper thin duct tape. ;)

Not the Gorilla or Duck tape that actually works.

put 240 pounds of sand bags in the back, and a board between wheel wells to keep the bags back by tailgate, made a big difference in the hills with the snow. P.O. had put overlaod springs on cause he always hauled a lot of weight, now without that weight , to much of the truck weight was shifted forward.
