Any suggestions for clear coat damage? Roof of my 2012. No issues elsewhere and first body shop quote was $1900

Same issue on my ‘08. Wrap it was the best choice I found, don't like any shops locally monkeying around with the headliner and 3rd brake light, not to mention the quality of work doesn’t meet the price charged.

My roof is experiencing the same issues, although not quite as extensive as your is at the point. I also plan on wrapping mine eventually.

My roof is starting to do this too. I was also going to run down to the vinyl wrap shop nearby and get a quote

Have you thought to paint it yourself? It's not that hard. Lots of quality 2 part paints and clear. I did my bed sides. Eastwood 2k or spray max 2k.

I found a guy in south Louisiana that’s at 400 for just the roof of a crewmax. Haven’t seen any of his work nor do I know the type of material he will use.
If I had the same job done in Houston it’s likely half the price for a better quality material.

At least that gives a general ballpark. That’s not a bad price if it’s somewhere in that range. I wish my paint imperfections were contained to just the roof. My upper pillars have some clear damage as well

I have watched several YouTube videos for sanding and applying clearcoat. Still debating that vs. line-x and other options.

I had some paint peel on my hood. Patched it with some paint and clear. I didn't blend sand and is ok from 8ft. Haha
Been thinking of black hood/roof once I install functional louver vents on the front of the hood.

Not really. Just youtube videos. The best results come from good prep and sanding.

For less than $150 you could wrap your entire roof? Not sure the dimensions on the roof but its gotta be less than 5'x7'.

All I've done is drive mine home and when pulling into the driveway noticed a flashing 4Lo

Into the house for the scanner and I've got P0705 & C1247. Small amount of reading & I found to check some fuses under the dash. All those are good. Further research & t/shooting necessary..

It's not perfect, but I peeled the bubbling chrome from the grille surround and painted it. And yes, I like the old man eyebrow :D

I ordered a new wiper linkage. Hopefully it won’t be too painful to replace. It wasn’t fun driving home 2 hours in a rainstorm with 1 wiper working half way.
