What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

They often restock, price is around 50. A little higher then if you swap the tube but if you want ease this at lease includes a filter and the housing wrench, so its not priced terribly its just not a "deal"

Its because that isn't actually made for the Tundra. None of the metal housing will say it fits the 2.5gen Tundra. But it fits
They just have to state that since its not applicable per Toyota parts listing's.

Not necessarily true ... this one does say that it fits my 2014 (and in fact I bought this exact same one because it said it fit the 2014 and it works great). Like you, I was going to recommend it to Xcumminsguy as well, but it said it didn't fit the 2021. Just not sure whether or why it won't.

Just got my ICS lower dash mount delivered. Let's see if this makes any difference at all for phone vibration/shake

 

Weird! We all use the same housing so I have no idea.

 

@Tunrod or anybody that has this setup...

I dunno if I'm missing something here but how did you mount the ICS lower bracket and the Rago top bracket together? The holes on the ICS don't line up to the Rago. I already have the 4 holes drilled in my dash from mounting the Rago already. I can drill 4 more to mount the ICS but then bolts to mount the Rago will hit the ICS. Seems like I have to drill 4 new holes on the ICS to line up with the Rago or am I missing something that's right in front of my face?


Edit: I do see that ICS has their own top dash mount which most likely lines up to their own lower mount but @Tunrod, did you drill holes into the ICS mount?

Just match up the holes on the Rago and drill the ICS.

This the one I grabbed. It's the same except not being plastic that swells a ridiculous amount when it gets hot. You won't regret this grab if you don't mind doing your own oil changes, which, if you are in this site, should be the norm.

 

Guess I’ll wait for its return to stock or save a few $ and but the housing only for like 30-35.00 and swap my tube over. Thanks koditten.

 

i wanted the rci before but had the talons garage one from the sequoia and transfer it over to the tundra. Fit exactly the same and function the same.

transfer the tube over from the original. Done! No leak nothing. Works fine on my 2021.

Got the ICS mounted up with the Rago and added the trim around the Rago plate. Thanks @Tunrod for sharin that idea. Gives the Rago a whole new look. I'm digging it.

 

Looks good ... if you're still experiencing shake you can try the shorter 3.75 inch arm and mount it one row back.

 

Thanks, I did move it close to the middle and also set the two extra front bolts to rest on the dash which I believe it was you that did also. I just took it for a drive and have almost zero shake.

 

Got her home from Moab today. One broken front bumper valance but other than that she did amazing on some pretty technical stuff and drove the 7 hours back perfectly

Nothing better than jeep guys having an aneurysm watching

I let you down- didnt do top of the world. Hopefully next year. Planned to do it when we finished Dome Plateau since they are literally 100 ft from each other but ended up spending the whole weekend on that trail.

I did get to enjoy a campsite high above the colorado river and woke up early to witness the most amazing sun rise. Overall- 10/10 trip.

Hell ya. Truck looks badass

 

Changed my oil from 0w20 to 5w30. Truck feels good. There is a cover that was a pain in the but to take off for the oil filter. Wonder if Toyota ever took it out when I took it to the dealer for the oil changes there. The bolts where pretty hard to unscrew.

 

Mine works great for my radar detector.
