I've been sending that to everyone I know over 50 who buys and eats only prepackaged food and is on multiple prescriptions (basically everyone in my parents' generation).
Follow it with their Rogan appearance. Bombshell stuff
You can thank the Cash For Clunkers program for that. Inflation has made it worse, of course.

NASA is a government entity. Too much towing the line and ass kissing for Musk to take the job, IMO. When your boss/bosses can be voted in and out and you might have somebody who wants you muzzled or fired for asking questions... I just don't see him falling into that trap.

NASA only exists because government failures don't bankrupt them. Waste doesn't bankrupt them. They just reach deeper into all of our pockets.

Musk has done what he's done without decades of waste that we all paid for. He doesn't have the luxury of not caring what it costs by just rolling projects over and over and ballooning the budgets the way NASA has. He innovated the reusable boosters out of necessity because NASA didn't bother. Why would they? We pay for it, so they don't care if they waste billions.

C'mon, man... NASA is constantly finding ways to cut costs. O-rings, for instance...

I suppose incineration of staff is a way to remove salaries and benefits, but they used entire shuttles to do it. Does bring new meaning to "you're fired" I guess.

And for anyone that wants a recap of the SpaceX awesomeness, this is a great video with a recap of the past few flights and some quick analysis of yesterday's flight. Again, can't state enough how insanely cool and impressive this is. I'm not a SpaceX fanboi, but this is the pinnacle of rocket science currently and cool to see it advancing in real time.

    ditto.

I got about a 1250 word essay ready.

Meanwhile Nasa's successful Mars rovers get overlooked while gathering priceless data for future human missions. Operating for years beyond expected life spans. There is a lot that NASA has contributed to this planet and humanity that gets totally ignored and not understood. Things going on now for example. I'm not a fan boi of NASA or any of our clients I've mentioned. Certainly won't make fun of astronauts dying at NASA's expense. The O ring failed because an idiot said GO against all warnings, even though the temperature was too cold to launch that day. The Columbia was a tragedy. The insulating foam failure after so many successful missions.

Take time to read the above and learn. NASA isn't just about launching rockets.

I was referring about your quotes above. We all know there's waste. Most large corporations are laying off their overblown administration folks. NASA should do it too!
