Hello all. I fk'd up my lower valence. Happy it's not all that expensive via aftermarket, but I really hated taken the front end off to install the heritage grill. Is it possible to remove/replace the valence independently? Thanks dooooodz!

    Lots of stuff!
I took my fog light surround off the other day without having to remove the grille, I put some Diodedynamic fog lights in. It just pulls off and might reveal the fasteners that hold the lower section on.

Worth a try to see before you go and pull the grille off.

Couple YouTube videos doing the front clips on these, might want to search there too.

You know, I went there first and didn't find anything. Might need to play around with wording. Appreciate the tip.

If you are talking about the middle lower valance, it's a breeze, It pops out easily.
If your truck isn't black or MGM get it color matched, it'll tie your front end in nicely.

Unfortunately, I’m referring to the lowest valence, not the one that houses the fogs.

Ah, rereading your message, that makes sense. Love that look way more than when folks just color match the fog light valence.

If you ordered it and they paint have em do it,it's worth the wait and it really does change the front end (in person) is waaaay better than the pictures.
Toyota should have done this right from the beginning.

Swap the valance with one of those OEM+ stealth or covert bumpers. You'll at least gain front recovery points and winch options if needed. ;)

The part that says "TUNDRA"? How the hell did you take yours off? When I was installing my light bar with the front clip "on the bench" I tried to take that piece off with no success. Thought I was going to snap in in half. Youtube video said to pry in the middle and work my way outwards, but I gave up in frustration and put it back on the truck as is.

    Any tips/suggestions?

If I bust mine up is there a pre-color matched version I can get?

    No.No. That's a negative.
I'm referring to the "very bottom" see my pictures above ^^^^^^ that part is gray across the board on all tundras regardless of trim level. I'm talking about the part just below that peice.

Copy that. Was thinking that you and @PBNB were talking about the same thing. I am wanting to swap out the lame OEM fog lights. Sorry for the thread jack!

I was told by another member to pull it off rather than removing the grille. I just started working on that and found the clips so after about 10 mins, it was off and 30 mins later my DD SS6 fogs were in and that cover was back on.

Front clip comes off these things easy and honestly with as many fragile easy to break little snap clips tucked in spots you cannot get at you'd be miles ahead of the game, this was off in under 15 minutes alone.

It is just held on with clips that you compress with your fingers to get them to release from the slots that hold them in. Here is a YT video about installing recovery points that covers the valance removal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SGx0qKnAoQ
