Took care of the air bag inflator recall. What is interesting is on the receipt it has 1.2 hrs for labor, but I bet they quote probably at least 3 hours for non-warranty work.

I was eyeing the OBDLink MX+ for $112 currently on scamazon . . . would you recommend this for a non-tech newbie like myself?

Depends on what the definition of "is", is...

To me, "strong" in this sense means it runs well, has plenty of life. Strong. Not meant to mean it'll haul a 75' trailer up a mountain pass at 80mph.

Maybe that video of the space shuttle pushing the Toyota Tundra forward would emphasize “strong”? As in I’m a “strong” believer that video was complete BS.

it was also the 5.7 that's currently blowing head gaskets and it overheats the heads AND block.

    that's weak.

Yes. Make sure to check who is fulfilling the order. There are counterfeits on the market. I documented one here and reported it to them, and they gave me a percentage off or a coupon code for the forum (I forget)

It's been 5.5 years since I made that thread and my paint still looks great. I usually wax it once a year or hit it with Griots 3-in-1.

I don’t believe that for a second. They have and need tractors that can pull 10s of thousands of pounds at a snails pace to move that platform.

The entire football field inside Arizona Cardinals stadium is moved by 78hp. It’s all about gear reduction. They pulled it slow in 4Lo. There’s an article that explained how they did it (moved the shuttle with a Tundra).

Iirc those big 10.5" rear diffs had 4.30 gears from the factory. I was always told Toyota wanted the second gen to be a 2500 in 1500 clothing.
