To @Mike for being great to deal with! I bought a mesh grille from him and I received exactly what I was told I was getting in only a few days. Awesome guy, many thanks bud:cheers:

Ended up not going to napa. A partsguy here at work recommended paintscratch.com so I have a can of dark green on its way!

Paintscratch.com is where I got the color match paint for Sean's and my tacoma grill surrounds. Decent match.

This is more entertaining than boxing that grill up and taking it to my part time job to send it off...lol

Word is it takes a while. Probably next week. I'll go find some primer tho in the mean time.

    Expoxy primer.

rustolium has it I use it. Its not much more.what it does it does two things.

One it bites into the surface hard. Two you have a expoxy coat/primer now so your paint will come out looking good, also coats the surface from the elements.

It does take longer to dry but worth it man.

Installed! Few minor things I wanna fix. I wanna put some black rather stripping stuff around the top where it meets the hood. Weird theres such a large gap at the bottom... it's ok though when I get the letters out on it, it'll look great. Paint cane very close. Gonna let it sit in the sun for a few days then try waxing it. Maybe clay bar?

    Thanks Mike!

Looks damn good. I think the gap is there for more air flow to the radiator.
