Merus meet up

Is that everywhere he's been?

 

It's what came up when I zoomed in on merus. I think we can make it work.

 

This is how it shows in onx. Busy, but way more user friendly imo.

Edit: I haven't been, but this was what was available for download on Merus's site.

I might bail if the dogs aren't going.

Heck yea, but i'm gonna have to make sure theres no rattlesnakes near camp.

 

Just another 50hrs at the ball crushing factory standing between me and Merus.

 

I took Dale to a Rattlesnake training at the bird dog club this spring. Cost me $75 and half a Saturday to find out that Dale won't go anywhere near a live snake.

 

I will mag dump a nope rope. I hate those things hahaha

 

Ok, gonna have to save some snakes from kazooii.

 

polo's a scaredy cat, but he's also curious & wants to make friends.

 

Merus meet up off to a good start. 1st gens to Lowes to get @SAGE63 a propane filter.





We went to big Texan but it was too busy for a photo op so I grabbed a quick pic.

After we went by @JakeJake place to do a little pre run wrenching. Skid plates for @455h0le_dachshund and refill the front diff for me.





Dale found a new chill spot in my truck.





@JakeJake also came up with a way to secure my box since the asshat I had build it didn't. Thank you Jake!





We headed back to my house and are currently doing some Goldeneye.



Stay tuned for some offroad action tomorrow.

Bummed you didn't make it! I was excited to see that meaty truck of yours. That just means we all have get together again.

 

Man I was really looking forward to this trip too. We’ll figure something out. I don’t mind driving so long as I don’t get reamed again.

That teeter totter was super impressive. All 4 wheels in the air. I got my 1st experience using a winch.

 

I made it to the cabin for the night.
Had a blast out there. It was great hanging with y'all. Let's do it again sometime. I'm down to hit Merus again, for sure. I'm also down for us to hit Hidden Falls, Barnwell Mountain, and the other 5 or so off-road parks around the hill country.

@Sirfive needs to get to building his rig, so he can recon a few of those parks in his backyard.
