So do y'all then transfer to the empty oil containers and dispose at AutoZone or what?

This is what I want and close to what I had years ago.

I pour everything into a container exactly like the one you showed. I have one like that and one that's a bit more stout with a yellow cap.

This is the type I have had forever and I don't have any issues. You can bore out the center hole if it's not draining through it fast enough. Then I transfer it to the empty oil containers for recycling as you said.

Where'd you get it? The reviews for the one I posted from advanced auto aren't great. Lots of complaints about the cap

We lived in a rural area that was next to the gravel county road. All the dust from the road was covering our peach trees leaves (we had about 800 trees) and therefore damaging our crop. We saved all our waste oil in a 55 gallon drum. My parents would put lay the drum down flat in the bed of our 1978 F250 4x4 and plumbed in a spray boom out of PVC pipe. During the summertime, would slowly drive up and down the county road, letting the oil drip on the gravel. It worked pretty darn well. We also had and sold the sweetest peaches in the whole Willamette Valley. This was all back in the mid/80’s.

I keep a couple jugs of my trucks oil for the mowers. 10w30.

some random person spills oil and it acidentally kills their weeds & they accidentally spilled some diesel oil. Bet them weeds aint coming back.

Googled that valley, that's a nice looking area.
My Grandfather had a peach orchard, not huge. I remember sitting on the back of his rickety old trailer (attached to his 8/9N) with him while he took his pocket knife and shaved all the peach fuzz off for me... because I hated it.
One of my best memories of him :D

Too long ago, don't remember. Summit Racing? I can take a pic if you want to see it.

    Willamette, dammit!

(only way I remember how to pronounce it right, friend of mine grew up there and he always screamed that at me when I'd pronounce it wrong)

That’s an awesome memory! We grew Vivid and Veteran peaches, and both had cling free skins. I would eat about 10 peaches a day…every day. One of my jobs on the farm was driving the tractor (JD 2240). I was forced to learn how to drive it when i was about 8 or 9 years old. It was REALLY difficult for a small kid to reach the clutch, let alone have the strength to depress it. I would drive close to the trees and just pick them right off a branch, then consume it as fast as possible so my mother wouldn’t catch me eating the profits.

Update taking the GX. Was going to take the tundra, but it has some pretty aggressive bump steer and with it wandering on the highway I don’t think it’s wise to risk not being able to keep the trailer in check.

At least you got a tractor. We got a horse and a plow. Grandpa would make us repair the tractor with the stick welder if anything broke, but didn't let us drive it until we were double-digit age. Barn cats would freak TFO any time they heard that crackle!

Big trees is a cool visit up past Angels camp. Snowshoe brewery is there too. Although I suspect you’re closer to Avenue of the Giants. Used to live in Garberville for work.
