trusts are still slow, but 2-4 months slow not 9-24 month slow so that's a win

individuals are quick...like sometimes same day quick, but i have no desire for that when a single shot is so simple

1.5 months into a Magnus and Enticer L Ti

Anything Liberty is also going to treat you well. they also have a custom shop they open once or twice a year.
Dead Air has had some serious QC issues, so pay attention to what you have. Their CS is good.

If you're nerdy for numbers, nfatalk.org has years worth of quality testing that is free to look at, from people that have been in the industry a long time.

That’s very weird. Cause usually when you submit via eforms it goes to submitted/pending right when you submit. So your dealer submitted it in November it should have been submitted/pending on the day the dealer submitted it. I would assume if you got the email in February you would be pending since February. As for the wait trust wise it’s all up in the air. I just had one approved 4/11 that was submitted early November. But I’ve seen people that wait way longer. I have the only RP on my trust and if you have more it can tend to take a little longer.

@JimBeam A year ago Around Dec/ Jan, I was talking with the guy I had bought my previous Silencers from.
I was looking to get one for the 300 Blk Out I was building.
He told me about a Promotion they were doing Buy one, Get One Free.
So, I bought the Silencer for the 300 Blk Out and got a Silencer for a 22.
Well, I had just bought a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite. So, I have a Silencer for it now.

@ MOG was it a Form 4 Individual or Form 4 Trust?
If you did it electronically. You should have got a notice it was Submitted to ATF. You look on the link under eForms then scroll down to the Form 4. It should tell you how many days from when the form was submitted until you get an email saying you were Approved.
Here is a link to the current wait times.

I e-signed a form 4 trust in November, and then received a notification from ATF that the status of my e-form submission has changed to "submitted/in process" in February. According to the link if my clock started in November it should be any day now, but if the clock started in February then I still have a few months...

Your e-forms are generally finalized by a 'vendor' or dealer that's handling the 'transfer'. It's possible that your submission was not initially filed right away by the dealer for some reason (mistake or accidental oversight)... not saying this definitely happened, but it could be the reason :notsure:

I was going to ask if you filed or was it the person you purchased the silencer from?
You might be able to contact the local ATF office and see what they can tell you.

Just enrolled in the Guardian program (Dead Air) and submitted an order for a Lazarus 6 (Xeno). Says orders can take up to 12 mos to fulfill upload_2024-9-13_14-17-5.gifo_O

What's anyone's personal experience with the program? Feedback welcome - good or bad. The 35% off MSRP is too good to pass up, imo. I'm also in the Capitol Armory (SPEQ) program but the can I wanted has been OOS on their site for quite some time.

Probably runs the same as their industry deal system

They'll get to yours when they run them

My employee got his in less than a month and mine took 6 months

They didn't charge me until they had one for me

Obsidian is another will similar program. I know some don't care for SilencerShop, but out my way transfer fees for cans have become stuuuupid... So, if I can purchase through SilencerShop for a reasonable price, I'm only paying purchase price plus the fed tax stamp as they don't allow 'powered by' dealers to add transfer fees . I'm sure every state is different.

Of the 2 shops in my area that can do NFA transfers one is charging $100/per can the other is $175 (plus our state requires a background fee as well; which makes zero sense since you're paying the $200 tax stamp and being 'checked' by ATF)...

So, my only suggestion prior to using a program like this just verify fees from your local NFA dealer to make sure you're not pricing yourself out AND having an extended wait.

Glock Blue Label also allows you to order directly through Glock for most situations that will qualify someone for Blue Label. I don't think EMS / Security personnel are allowed to order directly. But, I believe LEO and Military can, just be aware that they have 2 separate programs... One for LEO/Retired LEO and one for Fed Employees and Military. Glock is also quoting a a potential 120+ days to order through them and encourage using a blue label dealer. Unfortunately, Blue Label dealers in my area are marking up pricing on the Blue Label program as well ($50-$100/per pistol) :frusty:

Anyhow, on a positive note, my last can was approved by the ATF exactly 36 hours after they received the E-Form

Just ordered a Maxim ms22. Been wanting a 22 can for a while. We'll see how quick it is. Last one took 7 months but that was a while ago.

I really need to do the research on what it takes to get cans for some of my plinkers. Can anyone here recommend a good resource where I can go read up on it in plain English rather than legalese?
