That's the reason for 80% of mods I'd guess. I'm guilty myself.

Maybe not 80%. I'd say functionality drives more than 20% of the mods in here. But boredom and subsequently buying a 500.00 part is still cheaper than a new truck.

100% I keep doing little things to mine to keep it fresh and fight off the trade-in bug. Most are practical, but not "needed". Seat jackers, heated seats, auto up and down windows etc...

Messed around with the 3d printer to print this TSS sensor cover. The purpose was to replace the cheap ebay flat sensor cover that was throwing off the sensor. It came out decent and looks more seamless in my opinion. I had already relocated the sensor to the grille surround (in a somewhat permanent fashion) so I have no idea if the sensor would work behind it... probably not. I'm still trying different designs. Thanks to Rube207 for the inspiration off the gen2.

Was foolish enough to think I could pick up, and haul 2 yards of 3/8 cali gold gravel… not realizing that it would weight about as much as a Corolla. Took a half yard in the tundra and had the rest delivered.

For stone, I take a yard and go slow on the way home, luckily its all flat. Mulch, fill it up! But yeah, we don't do a good job hauling stone in these.

Had three 7s in a row on golf scorecard Sunday. Didn't feel inspired to buy a lotto ticket.

I'll keep tweaking the design a bit. I'd love to send a couple versions out to someone willing to test if the sensor works with them.

Dude, honestly felt the same way. Wife wants to paint it white, but I’ve been just feeling the chrome look on the truck.

I saw this pic in the Dirty Sevens thread and I love how your truck looks. The more I see double cabs the more I prefer the look over the Crewmax

Harness bar progress update. Vertical tie-ins left and some finish welding then should be ready tomorrow. I’ll then rip it apart and hit with steelit or leather wrap it

My buddy Matt at MCM stopped by with a fifth wheel last weekend, so I bought the cheapest tire I could find had the spare mounted today. Hopefully I can make this fit under my bed.
