Huge difference!

 

Definitely on the list. They did so many things right with this truck, interior lighting was not one of them. Also had them in my Tacoma, loved them

 

Has the delay for the map lights been fixed?

 

Nope, basically seems told to pound sand and it’s a bonus feature. Once I find time just going to swap back to stock. Could have probably dealt with the lag up front if the rears were actually color matched but strike 2 is enough for me to toss them

 

Lights are bright, but the front map lights are do not function like the factory and have a very annoying delay.

When I asked them, they gave a very blunt and rude reply that I should just pay to send them back. So, if something does go wrong, good luck with their horrible customer support. And, don't expect them to honor "works like OEM" advertising.
The color/temperature of the lights is also different than the OEM, so if you mix them, you get odd colors in the cabin. Not a fan, but they are an improvement.

File a dispute with you CC? That will get their attention. No sense in you paying for their inadequate engineering.

 

I was surprised with the response from MESO also. I have had many of their products but no more for me.

they look like 6K lights to me, no thanks.

I guess Im the odd one out, I like the OEM lights , they don't wash out your night vision. I could see the red being handy though!

I don't like the way you can see all the LEDs with these, looks un finished

 

You are odd....just not out today. At first the stock lights seemed dim to me but after a few times in the woods where its truly dark they seem plenty bright are are more than adequate for my needs. I like the looks of the MESO's but I personally don't think I need them as well...

I do wish more of companies would learn what a neutral tint LED was

I have one for my grill light, makes a huge difference .

 

Sad thing is I work at Toyota and everyone I sold a Tacoma or Tundra to , I would tell to look into this site and Meso Customs.
After there blow off email saying keep or send back I’m done with them. Sold a crapy product and way over priced lights that dont work as they should! If I had gotten an email
Saying we are working on it and so on- bla bla I would be good. There crappy response was the nail in the coffin.

 

That delay is somewhat annoying but I don’t mind it near as much as some others do. Haha. The light output alone is enough for me to say I love em! I honestly couldn’t stand the stock lights, they’re terrible in my opinion. But to each their own!

 

All I got out of that is what are you doing in there? Heart surgery? Dont understand the need but if it works for you great. Not for me......BTW, clean your media screen

the reality is the factory interior lights have a known resistance and current draw...changing that is just asking for issues...newer vehicles especially
