I don't drive at night very much, but they were excellent - the steering feature is awesome!

Yep. And I’ve enabled the anti glare feature in forscan which is awesome. I live in the country and have tons of deer so leaving high beams on even when other oncoming cars is really nice.

And bambi mode? That was the first mod done on my truck. Does anyone NOT live in deer country anymore? The forest rats are evrywhere. I don't mind mulies but I hate white tails. I heard them described as "a frayed nerve, with ADD, on crack" and that pretty much sums them up.

I love my Tundra. I love everything about it. It has given me no trouble and I will be buried in it one day.

Can I see a pic of your headlights for reference? I have a 2024 XLT and I like that they made LEDs standard on all trims. About time a manufacturer did that.

Agreed. She was born a dude. With that said, their reviews are better than most. I don't care if it's a teletubby giving the review if the review is a good one.

XLT headlights are LED, but aren't the same lights as the higher Lariats/Tremors and upper trims. No steering function and I think they are reflector rather than projector.

I know they are not the same as the upper trims. Because @Bannerman was saying the lights were a downgrade and he liked his, I figured his were probably in an XLT as well. If they aren't then the complaint about the XLT having downgraded lights doesn't fit, because they got upgraded to LEDs from halogens. There was never a comparison between the higher trim lights and the XL/XLT.

Best I’ve got handy. I believe the lights on the new 402As are LED but not the same type I have.

Looks good! Looks like they used the lariat lights for the Tremor in that year/gen.

I personally like the amber drl on the new one more, but I also don't like the new lariat+ lights. The lariat+ ones in your year definitely look better than in the new ones. I think they did a nice job improving the XL/XLT but hurt the higher trim aesthetics.

They are reflectors, but I do have the driving lights that come on based on steering angle. Or do the higher trim ones actually do it within the headlights?

Yeah, my 402a package is basically a well optioned lariat with a bunch of other mechanical advantages, for the same price. Probably made the lariat not sell as well to be honest

The higher trims do both. My fog lights turn on as I turn the wheel left or right, but the headlight beams are motorized, so as you turn the wheel they adjust their aim. It's very nice on back roads with a lot of curves.

I heard rumors, never saw anything solid, but never dwelled on it. If it's entertaining it's entertaining. If you watch female car channels for guilt free spank material watch womendriven or recklessRaquel or something like that.

it's not like the reviews or the channel are about her status, it's about vehicles. And it has some unique projects.

it is hard to believe Bannerman has a 3-model year old F150 and 240 plus pages of nonsense on a Tundra forum.

Congrats, I would think this would qualify for Epic Trolling of the Decade awards.

I lost some steam for awhile there but once the Tundra engines starting shitting the bed I have returned with renewed vigor. Once I get this Ford Performance tune and can throw the extra power in your face I will become truly insufferable.

you really going for the performance tune? kinda seems like a waste of money (which Im all in favor of, HA). You truck already has plenty of power

not sure thats going to make that much difference

Truely, by that time the cheap plastic bits in your Chinese supplied UAW product will begin to fail and your warranty will be a thing of the past.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I was having that discussion with a friend this morning, I've never felt my truck needed more power/torque. At the same time, an extra 100 lb ft @2500 is tempting...

    ya I get it.

I would maybe wait a bit and make sure ford doesnt shit the bed with it, let it get out there , get some miles and prove it self a bit. Also get some feedback from guy who have it.

I just wouldn't want my rig to get a cocked up trying some BS I really don't need as far as doing it right away.

I have no interest in the Toyota version, way too much money for not much gain at all, $3,400 bucks, lol, ya right. I mean the torque is already very very low peak for a gasser at 2,400, is 2,000 really gonna matter?
