*Buyer Beware* Tig weld creations exhaust

Cant wait to get this exhaust. Casey has been awesome to deal with. Getting his muffler and dump tip. Could take 2-5 weeks. Will up date my impressions as soon as I install it. Compared to most aftermarket systems he’s the cheapest minus drone.

 

No clue what you're talking about, how about some pics, links to a website, anything more than a nondescript post? Don't even know if Casey is a man or a woman.

Maybe he wants to know if he's getting a male exhaust system or female exhaust system. Male exhaust systems have deeper exhaust notes, while female systems are more high pitched and whiny. Valid question.

 

Very happy with mine. I have the TRD Pro rear tips so mine sounds slightly different than yours will but very happy. Scrapped the Stillen due to drone and have no regrets. Decent growl on acceleration, sound almost disappears at gear 8 which makes highway driving nice for long trips

 

Looks great beautiful work, nice polished finish, too bad it's under the truck lol...a full bolt on exhaust is about the same $ and you could swap back at any time...just sayin but def cool

I’m not talking you out of anything. I’ve been on this site and helping and others for nearly 20 years helping tundra owners. Guys expecting no drone will he sadly disappointed when dumped.

 

None are opposite of physics. The part that is subjective is how somebody hears it.

Having a resonator of the incorrect length, on the incorrect spot, with a dump, has drone. That’s all I’m saying.

 

Anxiously waiting on mine to ship also. I’m not doing the axle dump though, just the muffler upgrade.

Excited to get a little sound out of it when I want it, hopefully no drone with the Helmholtz.

 

I’ve been waiting longer than that, but he’s been very responsive and I know there was a brief issue with supply (which has been sorted).
He mentioned he’d be trying to get it out last week or this one, so I’m stoked it’ll be soon.

 

Ordered mine too. I can’t wait! I also have trd dual tip. Does anyone have a sound clip with that and his muffler?

my truck is on one of his YouTube vids. I don’t really have the camera/mic set up to do sound clips.

BUT, I can say I immediately tossed the Stillen out since it droned so much my maker of sammiches refused to ride in the truck with me and now she’s got no problem raiding with me again lol

 

Just arrived! Excited to get this on!

 

Got mine last week and as others have said, took 30 minutes to install and the fit was perfect. Couldn't be happier with the tone and no drone! Went on a 6 hour road trip over the weekend and it was awesome. Thank you Casey!

I have the trd dual tip. I was thinking about going with his too! Let me know what you think of it once installed and I’ll let you know what I think about it with the trd dual tip.

Did you guys ever get your exhaust? I ordered mine Sept 2nd and still haven't gotten mine.

 

I ordered one made out of titanium back in August. He's been very responsive when asking for updates.

 

he said mine will be done this month.

 

He's been responding to me until this week. I emailed him Monday with no response. At the beginning of November he said I should have mine in a couple weeks and I haven't heard anything since.

 

Nope. and ordered mine 9/29. Something must have come up this past month. He responded to my first follow up message on October 24th. But still no response to my most recent follow up on November 23rd.

 

I'll take @dirtydeeds if nothing for the customer service. I can text him and get a response a couple hours later and his knowledge of exhaust, or damn near anything Tundra, is on point.

 

Call him up and ask him for an update? Not beating on you specifically, but it’s super easy for something simple to go sideways as fuck when people are encouraged to speculate.


That said, I sure hope everything is ok. Maybe he’s backed up with the holidays. Maybe a family problem. Maybe a lot of legitimate reasons for a small business to fall behind or not be as responsive as usual. Give him a call…
